With Sony starting their own version of Project Latitude, which PlayStation games would you like to see on Switch and other platforms?

The Wonderful 101 (a first-party Nintendo game) was released on PS4 years ago, and no one made a fuss about that...
Not to even mention the two Nintendo-produced Project Zero games.

League Of Legends Lol GIF by TeamOrangeGaming

The Last Guardian, SOTC, Ico, GOW1-3, KZ2-3, Resistance 3.

I want these all on PC. If Sony is intent on killing their brand, at least i can play these games at 60 fps.

Xbox evangelists only care when they think they can score a 'win' against PlayStation

it's sad really

This is a Horizon Lego game not a proper Horizon game so I wouldn't put too much stock in other games coming to consoles unless they are partnered up like this.

Nintendo sold the IP to Platinum before it got a PS4 release (in exchange they bought out Platinum's share of the Astral Chain IP)

Playstation should be releasing all the kid oriented games on Switch. Sackboy is a clear one. Day one too. This will limit risk.

They have to figure out how to churn games so they come out with movie releases. There should have been a (movie tie in) Lego Jumanji game, Ghostbusters, Uncharted, etc.

Like seriously no Garfield (Astro's playroom sized) 5 hour game to tie in with the movie for 30$?

Horizon lego game, Ratchet and clank, sackboy, astro bot will be a great fit on Nintendo Switch

Nintendo: Let's be friends
SONY: Aight

Xbox: Let's be friends
SONY: This ain't been about critics, not about gimmicks, not about who the greatest
It's always been about love and hate, now let me say I'm the biggest hater
I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk
I hate the way that you dress
I hate the way you sneak diss, if I catch flight, it's gon' be direct

Maybe they should give their own customers some of their classics first before porting stuff to Xbox and Switch.

I think Freedom Wars, Everybody's Golf, Patapon, Death Stranding and Helldivers would be good games to release on other platforms.

If Sony is not interested to bring this game to PS5 then give to Nintendo.

Apparently Nintendo sold their rights of the game back to Platinum, it was only ported to non-Nintendo systems after that

Anyway, to answer this question, I have to imagine a lot of older Japan Studio games and IPs can get revivals that also hit Switch/2 (especially since a lot of the audience of those kinds of games is on Nintendo and PC now, and not PlayStation any longer). I don't expect to see any more beyond that, but if Sony does prove me wrong, I will take it as an indication that they are committed to following in Microsoft's footsteps in the mid to long term.

I have a PC and a PS5, so I don't really care where they release their games besides these.

but I guess Ratchet would do decently well on Switch 2? and it deserves a bit more attention imo.

Not sure if I agree with this, how did Ape Escape 1/2/3 and Knack 1/2 fair against Astro Bot?

I think this actually ties in nicely with our discussion in the other thread – I would say if Sony is willing to license out legacy and beloved (niche beloved, but beloved) IPs for release on competing (so to say) platforms for better gains on those re-releases, then I think they are losing the plot when it comes to being a platform holder and a first party. As I said in that other thread, I would expect Sony to take a loss on these types of projects to add to the appeal of their console's overall lineup, like they have been doing in the past. And unlike with, for example, God of War Ragnarok or Spider-Man 2, where cross gen and/or PC releases were all but necessary for those to make any fiscal sense, these are going to be very low budget re-releases that should feasibly be able to turn a tidy profit even on PS5 alone.

That post was more directed at this part:

Oh. Honestly a lot of Astro's success is down to it being a substantially better game in terms of critical reception and word of mouth; and even with that accounted for, it topping out at 1.5 million in spite of the rave acclaim is I think fairly illustrative of the point I am making (the audience for a game like that isn't necessarily on PlayStation atm, on at least Switch I can imagine it doing easily 2-5x more as a bare minimum, without even invoking 3D Mario sales)

My assumption is that thinking is what would guide Sony to put these re-releases (if they ever exist) on Switch. My personal stance is they should not do so.
