Errr, my comp is brand new. Again that's with everything but shadows on highest setting. You aren't getting any better than the pics I posted.

It must be the jpg compression, then, because those shots look absolutely terrible. I play with everything maxed at 1920x1200 and the game is pretty beautiful. Your shots are super pixelated, the lighting is flat, and they are just all smudged up in general.

Yeah the default quality level on WoW screenshots is very low to save space. JPGs with a 3 (out of 10) quality. It's easily fixable with some console commands though.

Also, an useful reminder. Binding your "interact with target" key and using it after doing /target "NPC Name" is your only chance to quest.

I am playing a new Druid Troll on Aggmaggan server, and it seems the "an ancient enemy" quest is bugged.

I was told to speak to Vol'jin then fight the Sea Witch, but my partner Zuni (who is with me the minute i started the character) disappears and i couldn't see Vol'jin to start the quest with.

what should i do??

Eh, servers were fine for us for the BC and WotlK launches. Surprisingly stable compared to the disastrous state things were left in after most major content patches, haha.

I expect a half-hour or so of problems, and then smooth sailing.

Things were relatively smooth with Wrath launch in my experience. I think it's going to largely depend on how populated your realm is.

I'm going to be installing it when I get home around 12:30am or so, and I detect possible long download times, glitches, and like Europe is experiencing, possible full queues or the inability to log in for some reason. As someone who used to work in telephone tech support, I feel sympathy for the Blizzard customer support employees come tomorrow...
