World of Warcraft |OT9| People still play this? Isn't it from 2004

The flight plan I just filed with the agency list me, my men, Dr. Pavel here. But only one of you!
Is it? On its face, losing 30% from thw health buff and only increasing Thals consumption by 2% doesnt sound like alot...

Pre-7.1: 150% demon health multiplied by 6% = 9
7.1: 120% demon health multiplied by 8% = 9.6

It's a buff of just slightly over 6% total damage to the spell.

Or for a quick easy example:

Pre-7.1: 1,000 base HP demon would be 90 damage (1,500 x 0.06)
7.1 1,000 base HP demon would be 96 damage (1,200 x 0.08)

I haven't spent any time at all specced into Frost (DK) but I'm willing to give it another shot with today's buffs and my rising artifact knowledge. Problem is I have no legendary for it. I do have a Sephuz' Secret though. Does Frost have any 'control impairing effects' that proc it and do damage? As long as the stun does damage, it can proc the ring against immune targets. Unholy has the abomination pet's 'Smash' ability for this but it is on a significantly longer cooldown than the ring's internal cooldown.

Why should they? Fury already is way better at cleave and aoe. Take away ST from arms and it has nothing.

Because Blizzard. The Arms hidden appearance wasn't even working / functional til PTR a few days ago. i.e., when they said it was ingame and working? It wasn't.

So it's more like they'd do it accidentally.

The level 60 talent tier has stuff that should proc it, but that's about it.

Why not? outside of bladestorm Arms has almost zero AOE (SS isn't really viable... unless you have gloves + ring maybe). Meat cleaver is really good cleave.

Because it's not WAY better and Fury's AOE isn't anything to write home about, either. Some specs, like DH, have okay ST but great AOE, that's their niche, but Fury isn't able to complete with a shit ton of other classes in AOE and can't even begin to in ST.

Arms is still far and above the better spec even for fights that have AOE and Cleave this tier.

I got harassment from a freaking world quest the other day. There was a non-elite, blue Wardens WQ with some random Satyr as a target. There were a shitload of people in the area so it had a lot of health. I was apparently the only tank so I obviously had aggro when he started evade bugging (I didn't move an inch from his spawn point). He kept bouncing back to his original spot when death gripped and it took me 3-4 tries to find a spot that he liked enough to stop evading.

In that time I was BOMBARDED with tells and /say shitflinging, people calling me a troll/etc and claiming I was being reported. Because a mob was evading out of my control, wasting about 1-2 minutes of their time. A mob that I was able to fix.

But yeah I understand that pugging everything is apparently the new normal in this game. I just can't do that. The only reason I'm even playing is because running stuff with friends is fun. In WoD I lasted exactly as long as my guild held together and not a day later.

Being able to actually progress in 5 man content while playing with a solid group of people I like is something I wish this game had years ago. I'm not saying I would have never quit at all but I definitely would have stuck around in Cataclysm for example. I stopped playing that expac as soon as the raid came out but I loved its heroic dungeons.

I legit miss my old guild. We were a super tight group but sadly only a few of us are still playing. The guilds they are in now are very competitive progression guilds and I am not about that life anymore. I was offered invites to join as social but I doubt I would be any further ahead. Need to find a mom and pop guild so to speak on my current level that is just looking to have fun killing shit. Pug group content mostly consists of people who are in the emotional red line with this game and totally sick of it but addicted. These people drag the game down for everyone. Of the maybe 5 LFRs I have done none of them were a good experience because of the toxic tude of the people I was grouped with. The dungeon groups I have done have been a nightmare of impatient children wanting to kick everyone for everything in a heroic. Pull and extra mob in a non timed heroic and you get voted out. I have seen a vote go up for pulling extra mobs in a regular with people who could actually get XP for it. Its insane. The kick reasons are always something offensive like "________ is a retard" or something to that effect. Which I always vote no to. Especially after I waited 18 minutes as a dps for a tank only to have the insta queue healer go crazy and want to vote them right out over nothing.

Evading mobs happen too often in this expansion (WoD too). They put all this flair on the ground to make the world look cool and not just a flat field like Hellfire Peninsula but if you or the mob are standing on any of this shit even a tiny little rock it has a chance to evade. There should be no pathing problems for most of it but they exist. I noticed on one of my DH abilities that I would get no path available A LOT on things that are nothing more than slight changes in elevation which literally appear all over the map. Why anyone would get mad at you a player for that is beyond me. I think some of these shitheels need to just quit this game and detoxify but it wont eliminate it. When everything was server centric if you pulled shit like that you got a bad reputation. Now with people from all over the place you can just act like a turd to everyone with no repercussion.

How many bloods are you people who have been playing since since day one sitting on? I don't have too many myself account wide since I started a month or so late but I can imagine some people have a lot of them.

?

Sargeras bloods are sellable?

No I mean the Blood vendor prices.

1 blood for 5 felslate, or 3 Starlight Rose, or 3 Leylight Shard (<---- wTF??)

I have a couple of hundred bloods split across various toons.

I have a DH and a Rogue available, what should I gear up for high M+? I'm guessing Assassination - Outlaw too inconsistent, Sub low AOE, Havoc low ST, but Assn has great ST and can do nice AOE with Bag of Tricks fishing.

Sound right?
Reposting in hopes of responses since I posted it pretty late last night. Any high-level M+ runners here?

I really like DH for Mythic+ because it's almost all about AoE. ST is a nonissue. It's one of my favorite classes along with MM hunters and WW monks.

I heard 10+ is all about single target tho

Look at it this way - in mythic+2 I'm never pulling less than two packs of trash. There's no reason not to. But once you get Bolstering, Necrotic etc you can't pull as much safely.

But the real reason is how nasty bosses get even not taking Tyrannical into consideration. Previously unremarkable bosses like Wrath of Azshara become an intense DPS race. There's some unexpectedly tough bosses outside of the ones you'd expect, I mean Melandrius is always a DPS race but you wouldn't think Rokmora would be bad. Nor would you think they'd let Dantalionax scale so much he'd start one shotting you with shadow bolt volley before the encounter buff goes out. But the balancing in mythic+ is...inconsistent.

I love how the blood vendor is right across from where you train herbalism. The herb NPC is just staring down that vendor through the window.

Killed world boss, didn't get any sort of credit for it at all. Patch day yeah.

Do you really think that vendor will have a long term effect on prices? I know right now things are going to crash for a bit. But demand for some of those items is still going to be above what people are able to get via the trader. Starlight Rose alone yeah people are going to have a ton short term but long term it might even out.

Prices will crash until people burn their bloods and then come back up a bit to their "equilibrium".

If you could bring one DPS spec out of Havoc or the three Rogue specs which would you choose?

Edit: Also, I just found out that there is a lesbian pairing in game yesterday. Cool little Easter egg.

Not getting credit for killing world boss on multiple characters now. how shitty. I actually wanted my 747 gold since you hamstrung my ability to make money blizz.

Logging out before I engage the boss and then logging back in seems to give me credit on first try. Seems to be some sort of phasing issue.

I would bring the person I like playing with the most. I don't do the group optimzation thing.

Theoretically though Rogue CC/stuns/distract would be extremely useful in our group. I don't know enough about any spec to decide beyond that. I think the only rogue I've ever done a 5 man with was Outlaw.

Just over 220 or so on my Shaman, but I have a DH, MOnk and Pally as well at 110. Only my DH or Pally would have any sort of good amount.

Either way, looks like I will be set for food for a bit + I can maybe take a crack at leveling my JC/LW

wow. wooooooooow. they dont' even test this shit do they?

Well my time with the expansion has come to an end. Had a lot of fun but my friends just didn't play consistently enough to be able to do Raids/Mythic+ with them every week. Easily got my money's worth of enjoyment though.
