Heard he was doing some turtle meat turn in quest over and over. Only quest I can think of that is that is on timeless isle. He would have had to farm a shit ton of the turtle meat

Having a good time past the introduction, I really love the music the most so far. Especially the remix of Warcraft III and the garnison.

These Shadowmoon quests are bad. Everyone camping the ravens, everyone standing next to the markers clicking them like hell. Expected :P

The initial setup your garrison area will be tough. People can't skip it but it gets a bit easier after that though a few places will slow down a bit.

He'd need his entire inventory to have nothing but meat in it. That quest is worth 1/10th of what a normal quest is worth but since it can be done dozens of times in the time it would take to do a single quest...I guess he planned ahead bigtime.

If Blizzard creates a zone for grinding animals for hundreds of hours and then they forget to make the repeatable meat quests not give XP then it's their fault if someone uses those repeatable meat quests to get to level 100. That's not even close to an exploit.

Well.. According to blizzard (and most devs) you are wrong.

Exploiting a bug (i.e. Working as unintended) is still exploiting. Granted I would say a suspension in that case is pretty rough especially PvE. But an XP reset seems hardly out of line.

For once I'm happy to on Draenor (the server). I think my login experience should be pretty reasonable. Just annoyed that I'm going to be doing work all night, but I'll take a strategic break at midnight to check out Draenor (the area).

Well, I made it out of Tanaan and to Frostfire, but, well...

This is fucking ridiculous.

edit: that was before everyone loaded in:

Just got into Sargeras US with no queue. Little surprised since this is a pretty big server. Though I guess it's still early.

Haven't played since shortly after Cataclysm launched. WoW expansion launches get crazy and this one seems like it'll be similar. Good luck to you all.

Way too early to really know. I'm on Sargeras too, but I'm kind of skeptical that things'll go very smoothly.

Do I need to be in Orgrimmar to get the quest to report to Khadgar, or can I just sit in front of the Dark Portal and wait for launch?

There's so little abilities now for each spec I could roll WoW on a controller. rofl!

Even after the ability pruning I don't see a way of playing WoW competitively on a controller unfortunately. There are still too many abilities. My prot paladin didn't loose much in terms of rotation.

I think this time around I am not going to break my sleeping habit to play through. Just gonna play during normal waking hours since this weekend has stuff going on.

Hopefully I can hit 100 by Sunday night.

Beginning of expansion is always the most fun since it is so hectic.

My avatar is ready guys, but I don't know if I am. Gonna try to get to bed early and start playing a little before work. East coast of course.

Not sure if mentioned but are they not touching the Blood Elf character models at all?

Yeah. That isn't accurate at all. I'm playing a rogue at 90 and easily have filled 3 bars with zero macros.

Yeah. That isn't accurate at all.

Not until first patch.

And also I tried it. Ret Paladins have literally four abilities they use in their rotation, I can map that to a controller.
