GAF GOTYs are chosen because they are exclusive to one console or the other, so obviously notI dunno, will in the future the (GAF) GotY be playable on PC more often than like once in a decade?
Thoughts?
Yes, Steam trading cards are my lifeblood. Games that don't have them are a waste of time, honestly.
I agree, playing games on PC at 4k60 on a 65" OLED with a ds4 on the couch is a delight.

nothing compares to being relaxed on your couch in front of a 40"++ tv...![]()
I'm the opposite, I've discovered the wonderful world of arcade sticks and I intend to play shmups only from now on as I don't have the resources and time to keep investing in new and expensive PC hardware.
Or because they are the best games. Steam can gift me 50 generic indie titles, but I'll gladly take Bloodborne over any kind of Steam sale. Right now PC is the perfect example of quantity over quality. 80% of my library I probably couldn't even get on PC legally.
Historically it has the most exclusives in certain genres like strategy, though I don't really care for that.
True. This was bullshit in every possible era. Standard adulation for console gaming and docking PC using standard internet forum words. The "i work at a desk all day so i wanna relax at home" standard reply always cracks me up. Its always the same words, in the same wording and most likely bullshit in 99% of cases.
That's going to be a while though, but I am seeing a falling trajectory in the amount of time I turn a console on. They just don't have as many unique games anymore, less stuff is coming from Japan, more Japanese stuff is coming on PC, and they don't "just work" anymore with day one updates, firmware, SKU upgrades now, etc. The Switch has a cool form factor, but I wonder if other Windows tablets won't mimic what it does in the coming years too.
