I didn't mind when she was the GM of Smackdown! But in creative she really really hurts the product, and now for someone who didn't like both ECW or Paul Heyman she's involved...ouch.

As far as the new ECW goes as of this news...:

Wrestling Observer patined Tommy Dreamer someone who needed to be as far away from booking as possible even before ONS. Not sure what kind of track record he has, but Dave Meltzer seemed to think it was a terrible one.

We have had terrible WWF/WWE programming before Steph was in charge, we will have the same crap after. Since no one on this board is in those meetings we don't know what is going on. We don't know what Vince/HHH/Johnny Ace/JR/etc are doing to the product. We don't know crap. All I know is that it can't be easy to oversee 3 shows, but then have Vince there ready to overrule people and involved with every step of the process. That is why I am can never be that pissed at Steph. Look at the reports after the ECW debut. They all said Vince and Paul bumped heads on some things, where was Steph's name in that? If she is the true head of creative shouldn't she have been involved? While she might make sure the scripts are in, perform some administration duties, we all know Vince is the one pulling the strings.

I saw video of a house show with DX on youtube. Sorry guys, but it was rather pathetic. 40-year old guys acting like they are in Junior High. Telling dick and fart jokes at Spirit Squad's expense. This reunion better be kept short.

Random Thought

ECW has to be better this week, people that hated it last week (read: ALL THE WORLD) should give the show one more chance before they start to turn of in droves and if WWE really wants the product to be successful they need to up the show big time now.

As I said a few pages back, its not going to be good until all this cross brand/invasion crap is put to rest, and thats not going to happen until either after vengence or until RVD loses the WWE title. With this being the big build up week until the PPV, I fully expect Cena, Edge, and maybe even Orton to invade ECW.

And even with that, it will still suck as long as its being taped along with SD with 80% of the ECW wrestlers getting Charlie Haas pops.

They get a month with me. If this doesn't make a drastic turn for the better, then off it goes.

BTW, I'm gonna MISS the TNA PPV tonight. The people I usually order it with are out of town. Know of any good places to get a decent stream?

Don't you usually go to the Sports Bar and watch it for free?

I agree one month ECW gets, week one nope...3 more to go.

Not TNA. They don't caryr them yet, depsite our tries. We have to drop the money every month for TNA. Split 3 or 4 ways, it's well worth it though. TNA always has a damn good PPV, now if they could improve their weekly efforts.

While I'm on that, why is it the BEST episode they've had in over a month is relegated to a midnight showing? BAH!

<<<I've got the TNA PPV on stream. I'll provide live updates...

I came in a few minutes late, so I'm currently watching the Rhino vs Roode & D'Amore

Results as they come in....
Bingo Hall Brawl: Team 3D vs. The James Gang

The James Gang and Team 3D brawled towards ringside and battled around the ring. They made a number of references to the flying chairs in Philadelphia as a few chairs were tossed in. Ray went to hit Kip james but was cut off. They clashed with chairs. Kip slammed one over Ray's back. Devon used a Kendo Stick on James Gang. BG James began nailing Devon with punches but Devon cut him off with a Kendo shot. Team 3D doubleteamed KIp for a near fall. They all battled back to the floor. They brawled towards the LAX's area and LAX interjected themselves, attacking both BG James and Devon. Brother Ray began setting up chairs on the floor. BG James dove off the ring apron into the crowd on Devon. They all brawled through the crowd. Brother Ray tossed a trash can full of weapons into the ring. There was a pink bra in the trash can, so he choked out Kip James with it. Ray then grabbed a cheese grater but Kip nailed Ray low. Kip went after James but Ray hit him with it. Team 3D set up for Devon's top rope headbutt, but as Devon launched, BG held up a trash can lid. Ray used a golf club to nail BG. Kip nailed Ray with a trash can for a near fall. Kip was bleeding by this point. Kip began beating Devon with a cookie sheet in the corner but Ray hit him with a kendo stick. Team 3D hit the Doomsday Device on Kip for a near fall. They called a table and hit the 3D on Kip, making the cover.

Your winners, Team 3D

An entertaining brawl. It was obvious that the former Dudley Boyz were sending a message to the new ECW as to what the product should be. One of the better James Gang showings in some time as well. I liked that TNA used the Philly house show to build the storyline as it made the house show seem more important, as well.

Brother Ray grabbed the mic and said, "You know damn well, that's how it should be done!"

Mike Tenay and Don West welcomed everyone to the show.

Rhino vs Roode & D'Amore. Rhino picks up the win after hitting D'Amore with the GORE! GORE! GORE!

6 way X-division ranking match. Alex Shelley vs Jay Lethal vs Sharkboy vs Sonjay Dutt vs Low-ki/Senshi. Elimination rules.
Sonjay pins Sharkboy
Lethal pins Shelley with a release dragon suplex
Petey Williams pins Jay Lethal with a Candian Destroyer
Low-ki pins Petey Williams with a SICK double stomp from the top rope
Low-ki pins Sonjay by double stomp while Sonjay is int he tree of woe. Freaking sick no matter how many times I have seen it live. BTW, Low-ki is still the ****ing man! Shelley is such a breakout star waiting to emerge.

Kevin Nash vs Chris Sabin (Nash now comes out to some Led Zepplin rip off music). Nash wins by Alex Shelley interfering then hitting the Jacknife Powerbomb. Sabin controlled this match and it was a lot better than it had any right being.

America's Most Wanted vs AJ Styles & The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels. (Turns out that AMW have been champs longer than ANYONE for 30 years. 8 months and a week, longer than any team in any company)

Some tranny just took out Gail Kim

AJ AND DANIELS WIN!!!!!!!! Daniels hit a rock bottom on Storm, then AJ with a frog splash follwed by a Moonsault by Daniels from the opposite corner. AJ AND DANIELS NEW NWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Really good match!

Video package recounting the 4 year history of TNA. Really good stuff.

the new face of TNA front ffice is revelaed as ROH Commisioner Jim Cornette!

Up next Samoa Joe vs Samoa Joe.. this ought to be stiff as shit. Joe wins by powerslam, this was a back and forth, stiff as hell brawl!

Main event time! King of the Mountain. Abyss vs Sting vs Ron "Da Truth" Killings vs Jeff Jarrett vs Christian Cage. So far this match it a total cluster **** with brawls all over the place and Killings, Cage and Jarrett are eligiable to hang the belt. I really hate it when they do these brawls all over the arena when you have a few people in a match. It's confusing as hell t follow and just as frustrating if you're actually there.

You've got to be ****ing kidding me...... Your winner...and new Champion...Jeff Jarrett... I'm going to ****ing throw up. I feel violated.

They go off the air with Jim Cornette and snagging the belt out of Jarrett's hands. Great...a NON FINISH!!!

Now maybe they will be smart and keep the ****ing belt off of Jarrett.

Well...hate to do this..but sorry man...Jarrett just won. But Cornette came down and took the title out of his hand saying something to the effect of not being the champ.

YEAH... GOOD JOB BEING the WWE TNA!

That J-E Double F, J-A- Double R, E, Double T--Double J Jeff Jarrett!

That sucks, but after a 2-3 month reign atleast eithe Sting or Joe will get a title run next!

Jeff Jaret REEKS of midcard I don't find him talented at all...why on earth is he the foundation of TNA can someone explain this?

I don't know WHAT THE HELL they were thinking about putting the belt on Jarrett. Do they NOT realize that is going to turn people AWAY from the product?

While he was climbing the ladder he was getting plastic bottles RAINING down on him. This was Cena at ECW levels of heat.

I am enraged......

Because he and his Daddy FOUNDED the company.

wow, a true candidate for worst finish ever...

first zybisko lets jarrett out early, gives him the belt and interferes by stopping xian from winning...

then ref earl hebner pushes the ladder to stop sting and xian who are both on the ladder from winning...

then jarrett wins...

then cornette gets the belt...

And we have Cornette telling us that he isn't the champion. WHAT THE ****.

Wow, this has been a really shitty week for professional wrestling.

It was seriously ****ed up. Granted I'm going to turn in Thursday to see where they are going with it. But not a way to finish a show.

They ruined what was a decent brawl with that bullshit at the end. Of all the directions they could have gne, WHY THE **** DO YOU PUT IT BACK ON JARRETT?

.

Well, if he wasn't a lazy slouch, Monty Brown would probably be wearing the strap now--but then again Monty's dance> anything Jeff Jarrett has ever done in TNA....ever.

Hopefully this is a "transitional" title run so they can put the belt on another of the promotion's faces--Styles, Sting, Joe or what have you.

...same mistakes as the WCW. However at least the WCW had a credible heavyweight division...TNA's is a joke, he's a midcarder with almost as many reigns as the game.

*Triple H has not held ANY belt for more than a year now.

Going by the last minute of the PPV, there is no champ. Jim Cornette took the belt from Jarrett's hands and pretty much stripped him of it.

Monty is a victim of his own success outside of wrestling. He's rich from the NFL, and a wealthy business owner. He doesn't make any efforts to work house shows or indy dates to help himself. It's getting tot he point where he's just dead weight.

Let's hope this week is a little ore promising than the last...which will now officially go down in record of being the worst week of pro-wrestling EVER.
From Monday's dull as shit RAW, to the WTF-inducing ECW, a dull Smackdown with no roster to speak of and a SOLID TNA PPV ruined by REALLY SHITTY and CONFUSING finish

"What??!!??"

You know, this just came to me. What if TNA made a last minute decision to have NO champ so that their leaked finish is now invalid?

The story broke that TNA higher ups werre FURIOUS at Spike for leaking their "Global Impact" footage revealing that there would be a new champ.

Oh well guess what I dunno I'm kind of embarassed to say this with Outcast around...I enjoyed Smackdown yet again. They actually have MATCHES on Smackdown, the only thing Smackdown is missing storylines.

Here is the worst thing too...I kinna like Mark Henry...I think he is being built up as this immence monster who just destorys.

Makes sense. The spoiler spoke of a "New champion", so having no champion debunks that to a degree. I'm sure the person who was intended to win the title at the PPV, be it Jarrett or one of the other guys, will end up with the title.

Hopefully it will go to either Sting or Abyss.

To each their own... I watch it and there's SOME hope in there. I see so much potential in Kennedy and the routes they can go feud wise with him.

They did have some quality wrestling. I'll give you that much. Thery actually took the time to develop their matches with 3 solid bouts that went a while.

I just can't get behind Mark Henry...at all. I find it hard to accept someone who's 7 inches shorter than me being a "monster" just because he raided a few buffets. Don't know what it is, but the guy just doesn't "click" with me.

Abyss has been there since the beginning. I really think he's due. He's taken some SERIOUS abuse while working for TNA and I think it's only fair he's rewarded for the toll the matches have put on his body. I've seen the scars on his arms up close and they are nasty and wide.
I met him right after his barbed wire match with Sabu and he got cut up pretty damn bad. It really sets in when you see the damage for yourself and the other cuts and holes he had going on.
