Highlight of this week's SD:

JBL: "I'm going to the World Cup next week!"

Cole: "You mean they're going to let you back into Germany?"

JBL: "That's not funny."

Vince is said to be disappointed in the Marine, but he was all about See No Evil, so there's no telling just how unbelievably shitty this movie can be.

He's disappointed in ECW too... and mostly with the parts everyone else likes, so hey, can't be that bad.

I actually watched Smackdown, and didn't read the spoilers, and found it to a much better show when you have no piror knowledge of what is going to happen. I love JBL doing commentary.

I am angry at all!!!

I am so angry that I may turn into an evil mutation of Outcast and TheRob if I am forced to watch Raw next week..... speaking of TheRob I find it magaical that he only appears on Monday nights and hallucinogenicly disappears from our fair world for the reast of the great week.

Smackdown gets a bad rap from some people because it's obviously positioned as the B show with fewer stars. Yet it's consistently entertaining, with good wrestling and nothing offensively bad unless you take things too seriously.

Noted in Calendar section in the latest edition of the WWE Magazine, it states that John Cena will be defending his WWE Championship at SummerSlam. The only scheduled match that features John Cena in WWE championship bout would be the one that will take place at Saturday Night's Main Event which would mean he would have to win it at this event. (Thanks to reader Nate for sending that along.)

It's the 80's style gimmicky/sterotypical shit that kills it for me. That, and Mark Henry.. get that fat load off my TV.... take Khali with you. We all know how to stop Khali. TRIP HIM, he won't be able to get back up!

My problem with Smackdown is that not only is it the same show each week, but there seems to be no point to the matches. Now that would go ok, if they were good matches, but we merely get several squash matches each week, leading up to the mainevent which also gets booked nearly the same each week.

I watch it every week. You're a ****ing liar.

Same here.....
It's amazing to me that when the SD roster is STARVED of talent, they demote BOTH Scott and Burchill. Not because they lack in ring abilty, but because accoriding to someone, they aren't "over" enough.

Bullshit, neither guy was given a chance. Scott is never going to be a huge talker who bursts out prinatable catch phrases. He's a damn solid ring worker who can be great at getting others over and making them look good.

I'm sick of seeing the exact same matches with the exact same people every damn week. Lashley is just not that good and there's only so much Booker can do.

Finaly is saddled with that stupid ****ing leprechaun. The leprechaun is an in-joke because Johnny Ace can't stand him. How ****ing petty.

Batista is coming back at least, not that he is much help. He's 40 and injury prone. I give him 6 months before he tears something again. Ah well, maybe things will improve.

BTW, watching Impact, not bad so far. The training segment with the Naturals is great. Both those kids have worlds of potential and it's nice to see them paired with Douglas. Up to Monty vs Smiley now. This ought to be a brutal squash...

Its seriously time for another draft lottery if SD has a chance of being a good show any time in the near future. What we're in-store now, are guys that the WWE has put over big-time as monsters, becoming fodder for Batista's mega-push part deux. He'll destroy Mark Henry, then probably go into feuding with Khali. It will all be for not, as Batista and his fragile, steroid infested, body will no doubt get injured again working with Henry and Khali. The prospect of having to suffer through Batista vs Henry for the next 2-3 months is enough for me to keep my "read the spoilers ignore the televised show" trend i've developed.

Scott is a good worker, they really didn't even give him a chance to get over. I think teaming him with Benoit when he returned would have been the best option. As far as Burchill, he would have been perfect for King Booker's Court--that would have been a nice stable(Lord Regal, Duke Finlay, Sir Burchill, and King Booker..i should be on wwe creative) .

I have to say I enjoy Smackdown just as much as RAW these days, if not more.

Smackdown always has more wrestling, more funny stuff, more bizaar stuff, and just a better paced show that seems like more is going on IMO.

RAW is more like a tv-show with the same recurring characters and storylines that continue for ages, etc. I love RAW..

but smackdown has some matches that are just for the sake of those two guys wrestling.. i kinda like that, its like some promoter just put them together to wrestle.. it also has some fun storylines.. and i am starting to really dig what they are doing with alot of people.. i never was a big fan of mark henry, but the way they are using him these days is perfect.. he comes in and brutalizes people, cares more about taking out someones career than winning matches, etc. JBL is hilarious as a wrestler or as a commentator..

and lashley is a future star.. i love this guy.. his feud with finlay was AWESOME and I was it was longer..and his feud with booker is great so far too. i'd have to see the booker/lashley feud and matches is better than anything RAW has to offer.

and, batistas alot of fun, i'm excited for his return to see how it all plays out.. would love to see booke get the championship and setup that match with batista for summer slam, would be good.

I ****ing hate wrestling right now...

I just turned on the TV and Todd Grisham was screaming at me for some reason and talking down to me like I Was 12....

WWE.com has announced that this Monday's Raw will feature a "Pick Your Partner Triple Threat Tag Team Match" in which Rob Van Dam, John Cena and Edge will each select a partner for a Triple Threat tag match on the show.

Considering that Smackdown will be taped that night, and ECW will be broadcast the next night from the same building, WWE could certainly throw a surprise or two (or three) into that match.

Raw will also feature the debut of The Highlanders, and WWE.com has been teasing that DX will "defy authority" and violate Vince McMahon's order that they be "banned" from the show.

You can read the WWE.com preview for Raw by

Should be an interesting Raw. I have RVD picking Sabu or Show as his partner, For Edge Foley or possibly Orton...For Cena i'm calling Rey Mysterio, maybe Flair.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if RVD picks someone like Tommy Dreamer as his tag-team partner... in terms of Edge, Foley seems like a given, and, as for Cena... who ****ing cares? Regardless of who he picks, it won't matter when he somehow finds a way to overcome the odds yet again.

Cena will more than likely pick Flair or even Carlito.

RVD will more than likely pick Angle.

Edge will pick Foley (especially if Cena picks Flair) or Orton.

The only reason Flair or Foley would or wouldn't be in this match is because of their ongoing feud with each other. They might use this segment to continue this feud, or they might give this another segment on the show.

Flair is going to be Cena's partner and Foley is going to be Edge's. Pretty cut and dry.

Although I wouldn't mind Cena bringing back the Hulkster.

Have they said who the imposter Kane is yet? I havent been able to keep up lately.
