Well if you read the TNA taping spoilers, the next PPV is looking like it could set up Joe to win the belt in rapid fashion. So it's a thing they are starting to remedy. IT's almost as if Cornette is doing a little booking to go with the on-air role.
I think Sting has a better chance of winning the strap at the PPV. From what Ive seen from the hints given on TV and backstage reports, they are building Sting/Joe as the next big money feud so I see Sting going over either at this PPV or the next one and then fueding with and going over a newly heel Christian Cage leading up to Sting/Joe at Bound For Glory 2...

OVW SPOILER

At last nights OVW tv taping Seth Skyfire defeated C.M. Punk to win the OVW Heavyweight title and a shot at the Smackdown Heavyweight title at 6 Flags the 14th against Rey Misterio.

Well, that frees up GAF's personal pro wrestling idol to make his debut.

Considering Punk worked the ECW show at the ECW arena, I think his fate has been set for some time.

Well, yeah. But you never know with the WWE, especially since Vince recently demoted Heyman's role in WWECW--Punk is a "Heyman Guy". The OVW schedule does conflict with the ECW schedule travel wise , so him actually dropping the title finally confirms he'll be a full-time member of the roster.

My mark-out/wrasslin thread spam fest is LOOOOOOOOOOOONG overdue--I've been holding it in for almost a year.

Yeah

Good wrestler + Vince McMahon = Watered down wrestler.

See thats where you are confused. Its not his wrestling thats gonna get him over. Thats just a bonus. Its the fact that he can tear up most of the WWE on the mic.....so they probably wont even let him speak. :lol

If you're expecting ROH/IWA Punk then you'll be disappointed. One thing Punk showed in OVW, and against Val Venis on heat, is that he can work the WWE style damn well--only having 7-15 minutes to put on a great match as opposed to 30-90 minutes.

Can you believe that there are people out there that dont like King Booker? How is that possible?

Some people also don't like Kennedy. It cannot be explained.

I still love that great music. IIIICE(Ice ice) COOLD(Cold cold) /que awesome music

I don't like Kennedy...he can say his name, big shit so can Estrada. He's boring in the ring and I don't find his annoying type of humor funny.

Kennedy is the perfect heel. I mean all they have to do is remind me he's from Green Bay and I start wishing for his immediate death!

BTW, just watched the SD vs Raw 07 vids. Those aren't PS3 vids.....

I'm INCREDIBLY geeked to have X360 Smackdown on XBL. I'm saying it now, I'll be organizing a SD vs Raw 07 fed for us here. GRanted it's not till NOVEMBER, but I want that task. If Jericho is in the game (which I doubt) I'm taking him.

Why don't we just create a GAF belt:

Reg and Tag.

I'll be on the PS3 side of things though as HBK :D

You can have the PS3 league, Mr. Moneybags. I got a kid coming, no PS3 for me for a LONG time.

You have an Xbox it's not like the Playstation 3 costs THAT much more only 200 more dollars and it's so worth it :D

In the GAF fed, only one can look to the gods above and be hit with the power of the Warrior:

Wrong, it's costs $600 that could be better applied to my kid. And no, it's not worth it to me. I'm MORE than happy with what the 360 offers.

I spent the $500 on my X360 set up before we found out were going to be parents.

You're sounding an AWFUL LOT like Morphix.

Behind the scenes, Vince McMahon has been less predictable and more erratic than ever before. Everyone is catering to him in fear - in fear of him possibly snapping on them. McMahon isn't running WWE with much input either - probably less than at any point in WWE history. The only two people who have enough clout and respect to disagree with his decisions are Kevin Dunn and Stephanie McMahon.

Bastard. He's listening to the wrong child!

If we get a SDvsRaw leauge going, I call THE LEGEND KILLER BITCHES!! Assuming the a miracle does NOT occur and CM Punk is not in the game.

Can someone organize this please? This needs to be organized completly and we need a PS3 division too...I figure someone has to defend their title every week or so in the GAF division and we could have some interesting tag teams as well.

I can do it. But, it's not until November.

Created probably not. Too easy to have maxed out characters.

Just make a skill point limitation, like the CAW can't be more than say an 85, or whatever the average overall rating is for wrestlers in the leauge. CAW would be sweet--my CM Punk is damn accurate. Hell, I had a friend who came over while I was playing and was like "HTF did you unlock CM Punk!!"

I f I had a good router I would like to personally Layeth The Smacketh Downeth on ALL of your candy@sses. In a kind way though. :D

I need a good router that's cheap so my PS2 can go online. Suggestions?

The main event for the July 4th ECW show will be Rob Van Dam vs. Edge, with both the ECW and WWE titles at stake.

Vinnie mac may be in charge, but if nothing else we should get a PPV quality match for the 3rd week in the row... Knowing Vince, though, it will probably be a 8-10 minute match instead of the 20minute matches we've been seeing.

Degeneration X Banned from RAW

DX banned from RAW
By Ed Williams III
June 29, 2006

Ever since D-Generation X literally put WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, his son Shane and the entire Spirit Squad down in the dumps, everyone knew that there would be hell to pay for Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Well, Mr. McMahon didn’t want to wait until Monday night to reveal what he had up his sleeve. The Chairman has made a preemptive strike and has banned D-Generation X from RAW at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia Monday night.

D-Generation X has always been known for their sophomoric trickery, and their parodies over the years have been second to none. No one will ever forget when DX did their best Nation and Corporation impersonations, but it is highly unlikely that last week’s Mr. McMahon and Shane McMahon impersonations will ever be topped.

Triple H came out to Mr. McMahon’s entrance theme song, donned a wig and suit and even tried to pull off the Chairman’s one-of-a-kind strut to the ring. The King of Kings pulled no punches and talked about everything from his daughter Stephanie, who the father of her child is (or what he possesses, rather) and even the XFL, but perhaps nothing had the fans laughing more than his impersonation of Mr. McMahon’s performance of “Stand Back” from the 1987 Slammy Awards.

HBK had the unenviable task of following that up with his interpretation of Shane McMahon, but he didn’t miss a beat. Continuously hopping and dancing around the ring in true Shane-O-Mac fashion, the Showstopper had the audience in stitches. But they say a picture is worth a thousand words, and that couldn’t have rung truer than when Mr. McMahon, Shane and the entire Spirit Squad looked to the heavens and were greeted with heaping mounds of rank…well…crap.

The looks on the faces of the McMahons and the Spirit Squad were priceless, but the embarrassment of that moment is something they will have to live with forever. And to make sure there is not a repeat occurrence of that moment, DX is banned from RAW Monday night.

I dunno, I think we should do all CAW only if we're doing a league.

(I don't wanna end up with like.. Trevor Murdoch)
