For the Unified World and WWE titles.

We're thinking too small....

Yikes at this card. Haven't watched any wrestling in weeks. Not only is DBry not in the main event picture they completely botch the obvious match of Shield + Wyatts vs Punk / Bryan + Usos + Rhodes.

Also I can't believe that Divas match is a thing. Whats the record for the fastest elimination match at Survivor Series? Hopefully this breaks that record by a significant margin.

People need to stop with the delusions that Bryan is anything more than a midcarder at this point.

I expect him to be feuding with Miz by Monday and with Miz getting the upper hand most of the time.

I wonder if it's worth the remaining PSN wallet credits that I have (for viewing it in the Live Events Viewer, that is).

Save for TLC if you can. This card sucks and TLC tends to be interesting, if not good.

Rumble would be better.

Dude's a vacuum. He walks out and no one cares.
On a higher note though, that photo of the wyatts with alligators is freaking awesome.

Management's fault for giving him a mic while having him act as jobber to the stars. The man is a very solid worker and has put on some great matches, but it's idiotic how they have focused on his biggest weakness (lack of charisma) for so long.

You keep thinking that. We'll talk again on January 27th.
You can convince me he's winning the Elimination Chamber match then.

Ultimate underdog story writes itself: Legitimately won against Cena clean, which in itself shows what kind of faith this company has in D.Bry. Beaten down by the corporation for months and cheated out of every championship shot. Now he's busy beating on the Wyatts with Punk cause they got ambushed (still don't know the Wyatt's motives). So he'll tag with Punk and eventually they'll break up and hopefully feud. In that feud I'd hope for Punk to go heel and for him to win the title at EC or something. Then you have ultimate underdog DB win the rumble despite "all of the odds ™" and finally have the WrestleMania moment he deserves. It would be the biggest win it can possibly be, to make up for his last 2 manias.

I realize this is naive. But hey, come Royal Rumble time, if it doesn't go this way you can bring it up and I'll eat crow :)

You say that like Winning the Rumble actually means something. 2005 when Batista won was the last time it meant something, you know that.

Daniel Bryan can totally win the Rumble and curtain jerk mania.

All roads end with Batista being one of the greatest.

This just happened on Monday night. Great match.

Uh, he's tagging with Punk who is the biggest guy in the company next to Cena/Orton. He's regularly carried the main event of Raw for weeks and he gets a ton of air time. The company has faith in this guy and I think it shows. He'll win the belt when his DVD documentary is ready.

When the hell were the Real Americans added to the big male elimination tag match? After Monday I was 100% sure that it was going to be Shield/Wyatts against Punk/Bryan/Usos/Rhodes. I can accept getting that mixed up with the main event of Raw but everyone was involved in that brawl at the end.

Edit: They're obviously doing some big show-closing story moment to end the Orton/Show match and it's not Show turning heel because Michael Cole asked Triple H if that was going to happen in this week's WWE.com inverview. Mentioning it at all means it's not happening.

Can't really be a no contest either because that's basically the only finish that would manage to be less exciting than the match itself.

lol, Big Show in a title match in 2013. How can they go from Daniel Bryan to him?

Dragging and butcherng the Orton/Bryan/HHH feud until nobody cared anymore was one thing but this is just ugh.

Maybe this is how it will end?

why didn't they have the IC belt change hands at the PPV? dumb

well, not like the belt means anything these days anyway

And the match WWE chooses to promote first on NXT this week is... Cena/Del Rio. Legitimately a less exciting match than Miz/Kingston.

Probably cause of this:

WWE is focused on building up their weekly performance on television to be as strong as possible according to PWInsider.com.

WWE wants more big moment to happen on RAW or SmackDown, the big 6-on-6 main event match was a good example, because they want to increase their leverage in negotiations for the cost of their TV rights both in the U.S. and internationally.

The word from inside the company is if they can triple the cost of their television rights from what they were, it would financially set the company up to be in a good position for a long time. NASCAR recently had their rights signed for $8.2 billion and this is giving a lot of hope to WWE hence them making their television ratings the top priority.

Although the IC belt changing hands hardly qualifies as a big event/moment.

I'm still laughing at how the Sandow cash-in has robbed that match of any stakes. Cena's performance buried the possibility of his "damaged" arm being a detriment in any way for that match.

I doubt we will see him again until the Royal Rumble. Did you see him limping after his run-in at Raw this week?

According to The Wrestling Observer, Rey Mysterio was indeed not yet ready to return to the ring on Monday's Raw, however WWE asked him to return and to work Sunday's Survivor Series PPV as he can be protected in the 10 man match.

The feeling is Mysterio's appearance on both Raw and at the PPV will feature him, and hopefully encourage people to purchase the PPV, however he won't have to work as hard as normal and risk further injury.

This dude has been out for how long and he still isn't healthy?

He needs to hang it up and retire already.

That's not fair. He was injured, they brought him back to soon to team with Sin Cara and guess what happened? He injured himself even worse and is now out for much longer.

WWE needs to build new talent so they don't need the older talent to carry all the load all the time. CM Punk has been working injured for over a year now, these people need some time to rest and heal up every now and then.

something something Dwayne something something buyrate.

WWE's in too much cruise control, they don't want to jump the gun on the newcomers.

Big E is a prime example of what WWE doesn't need in their main events. Dude is just another boring powerlifter. There has been no good musclebound big guy since Brock Lesnar and there never will be.

The problem is that they've given him basically zero time to showcase his charisma on television. I think most people that like him are probably people that have picked up that hes a funny guy on Twitter and wwe.com videos.

Untrue. Big E, given his experience level, is good and agile in the ring, and more importantly, he has a lot of personality.

Big E is alot like Goldberg: He's quick, agile and legit strong. If booked properly he can be a huge draw for WWE, esp. given how funny he is in backstage segments. If they give us that on TV on Raw, I'm sure he'll get many people on his side.

Come on, who could not love this guy? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYKaHKd8Ov0
