I can't imagine how AoA is going to fuck the X-Movies time line even more. They might as well not even bother with a timeline and just use the same actors to do famous story arcs. EVERY movie is it's own continuity. Seems like the best thing for the franchise going forward.

Hopefully this leaves the chance for a certain someone to return as well:

so dumb to spoil this well before days of future past has even come out.

anyways i want cyclops back. post credits scene of him blasting wolverine.

Apocalypse is black?

Egyptian, but ancient Egypt was pretty multi-ethnic, even in their royal lineage. A black Apocalypse would not be out of place.

They'll probably do some chalky makeup for the gray skin effect and a tattoo pattern that incorporates the blue lips from the comics.

Like his first form from X-Men: Evolution

1.) As long as Singer is attached my expectations are tempered. He's so very average with only flashes of greatness.

2.) I didn't believe people when they said comic book movies would hit their peak but geez, with the way all these studios are stumbling to pump these sequels out and cram comic book shit in them and more and more cast members to give it that event feel, it must be happening soon, if not already.

Some new details from Bleeding Cool:

So, as of now, here’s how I believe it stands, based on intel from folk who’d been telling me an Apocalypse film would follow Days.

Days of Future Past will lead directly into Apocalypse. There’s a clear narrative thread that will string the two pictures together, and the character of Apocalypse is a good part of how this will work.

Several cast members of Days of Future Past will be wanted back for Apocalypse, including members of both the “past” and “present” timelines.

I can’t find out who has signed or even who might have entered negotiations, but I do know who is on the shopping list and, in short, it’s everybody. Or, to be more precise, it’s a direct continuation, a next chapter that picks up the status quo at the end of Days and carries on developing it.

This doesn’t mean there won’t be new characters. Several new characters. And that some old favourites will get much smaller roles. Because that’s all expected too.

My official predictions (to be referenced in 2016):

- Bolivar Trask is Apocalypse. Or at the very least, his right-hand-man will be.
- Jean Grey and Scott Summers will re-appear at the end of DoFP...and will have a baby in their arms.
- Baby will feature in the next movie, which will start with Cable coming back in time to warn his parents about Apocalypse.
- Wolverine will die to save Jean and everyone else.

I absolutely hate Marvel's continuity. In pretty much all of their comics.

Ugh.

They can't really do a post-apocalyptic future/time travel storyline two films in a row, can they?

My guess is that DoFP and Apocalypse will be closely connected and they just haven't let us onto it yet.

Wild predictions:
- Apocalypse is probably already on his way DoFP in the present timeline, due to some sort of relation to the Trask/Sentinels.
- They'll set most of DoFP in the past so he is only ever alluded to but then some timeline plot twist will happen near the end of the movie, setting up Apocalypse's arrival and a shift in focus to the present day for the second movie.
-- Finally, XMen: Apocalypse ends with either the destruction of one of the timelines or the merging of both somehow. (expect many character deaths/revivals)

"You are not FIT! You are not WOR-THY!"

90s X-Men TAS Poccy quotes are indeed amazing

I also loved his scream at the end of Beyond Good and Evil

Xavier: "It's the end of time Apocalypse....for you"

Apoc: "nnnnnnNNNNNNOOOOOOOO"

I don't know whether or not to be thankful that an X-Force movie hasn't been made. On one hand I would love a proper adaptation, on the other I don't want a shit movie to taint it anymore than Fox has tainted X-Men and FF.

Apocalypse is a badass only because they told us he is. I never really bought him as this be all, end all villain. He is overrated, but I am still excited to see him in the movies.

They bring back Cyclops and he is pissed about Wolverine killing Jean. They fight and Wolverine gets his hand blown off after stabbing Cyclops in the eye. Make is happen Singer!!

fuck narcisse. make michael caine voice him.

he's getting old. it's time he voices a bunch of characters. hopefully the next transformers villain too.

edit: bryan singer and fox are handling this all wrong. so stupid to mention this half a year away. it shouldn't even have been known until the end credits scene leaked.

Should skip Apocalypse if that story is real
what the fuck

Just do some more time skipping and start the Onslaught arc.

Just looked up Apocalypse. If they run this, Thanos and if DC bring in Darkseid as well I'm gonna be bare confused.

GOAT villain is Stryker. Brian Cox is the best actor alive homies.

This is likely to be Fassbenders and Jennifer Lawrence's last Xmen film. I can't see them signing up for any more given how both are likely to be huge A list actors soon.

Well Thanos is actually competent, so that sets him apart from those 2.

Yep, they've definitely had some inspired casting. I still don't love everyone, but most of them have been great choices.

Edward James Olmos would definitely be great. He is so underrated and I'd love to see him in more stuff.
