Think about it, what console uses the letter X in an ubiquitous way? Xbox. Xbox Series X. Three X's. What's the big deal about the letter X? Did Microsoft add excessive X's to its branding because they think it's edgy & cool? No, it's because Xbox is actually a Christian console.

In Christian tradition, the letter X is used not only in words, but as a symbol for the cross, and Christ itself (think about the X in Xmas). This symbolic representation can be found in other areas (Pedestrian X-ing, X-country skiing, X-dressing). In the Greek alphabet, X is the symbol for the letter chi, and chi is the first letter in the Greek word for Christ. Early Christian churches would use the letter X as a secret symbol to show membership in the church.

Xbox was the first console to feature a bible. To this day, Microsoft continues being the home for players wanting to learn the word of God. You'll never find this stuff on sacrilegious consoles such as Switch or PS5. Halo? Super Christian game, with Christian symbolism out the ass. They're even using Minecraft as a vehicle to spread gospel. It also explains why Xbox could never spread in Japan, just like Christianity.

So hopefully this explanation clears up things. I know people can get annoyed with xbox players - but they can't help that they're so outspoken. It's in their culture and identity.

To sum up: Switch is the home of JRPGs, Playstation is the home of Fighting Games, Xbox is the home of Christians
