Blue Dragon is coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today
Blue Dragon and Limbo today if this rumour is to be believed.

Limbo having a port already to X1 makes this linda strange tbh.
Booo, no digital version.
Pls Phil, I'll buy it when it's digital.
Mass Effect Day is next Monday - November 7th.

The only thing you should believe in is that you'll have the opportunity to buy them again as a remastered package.

Yeah, I'm happy for those that own the disc, but as an all-digital guy...I'm disappointed they couldn't get this up day-and-date with the BC announcement.
This is an issue with many multi-disc games and I would imagine is something they are working to fix as we speak (type).
I don't think it's exclusive rather I'm pretty sure Square Enix doesn't see much sales potential on the Xbox One sadly. It's one of the games that is making me consider a PS4 honestly... I don't think it will hinder the chances of the first game becoming BC.Is Nier Automata actually labelled exclusive for PS4? If it's only a timed exclusive maybe we will see them both out at the same time.

The way Spencer talks about Blue Dragon and Lost Oddesy, even before BC was a thing, makes me think that they did the work and need to sort out some business before they can actually charge money for them.

I just played it for a while to make sure. Worked fine for me. I saw people having issues with it earlier in the thread too.
Are you using disc #1? My discs were in reverse order in the box from back in the day, and without looking put disc #3 in the One. I was waiting a while for the update to push until I realized my mistake. Is Blue Dragon live yet? I am having issues getting the download to initiate.
Hoping we see Infinite Undiscovery and/or Dragon's Dogma soon.
Probably going to give Rage a shot tonight and see how it handles. I remember the game handling shockingly awesome when it launched. Shooting felt amazing.

Yeah, I just doubled checked; I'm using disc one. It shows up as Blue Dragon and the status is "Installation stopped." When I try to download, it goes up to queued for a split second, then kicks back to installation stopped. I thought it was a service thing, but other people are apparently downloading already so...
multi-disc can't be the issue. You download one file to play the current multi-disc games.
It has been significantly improved. The last update for it was late August, but I don't think any site has done any official tests.Did they ever fix Mass Effect 1? It was worse than the original in the initial Digital Foundry tests
236 pages later and the title of the thread still includes "nobody uses it".
Went digging through my 360 games I kept when I sold my 360 S to get my Xbox One and was sad to find I hadn't kept Blue Dragon.
Lo and behold, I find another stash of 3 or 4 games.
Guess what I foooooound?![]()
I know for a fact it is a multi-disc issue. I've seen the reasons why explained many times, here and elsewhere on the internet. I don't know the details intimately, but it has something to do with the way the 360 handled multi-disc games as separate packages or something to that effect. Basically any game that was multi-disc that eventually got a digital release, the publisher/developer had to engineer the game into a single bootable package for the game to function as it should.
I'm fairly certain the is the quick and dirty explanation, but someone else can step in and give a better one if they'd like to.
