Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Activision have a say so on whether or not what Activision game goes BC or not. I don't see Phil having any say so, I'm actually thinking......NONE!

If you own the DLC it should be there on the Xbox One. I don't know about Black Ops (as I don't own it) but for all other games I've downloaded that I've bought DLC for on the 360 it's been there.

It should work the same way DLC works for the Xbox One. After you have downloaded/installed the game go into "My Games and Apps" and select "Manage game" for the game and in there is a section called "Ready to install" which should have the DLC you purchased ready for your to download and install (select the ones you want and download them).

On BC vsync is fully engaged so there will be no tearing.

What's your point?

MS can't just flick a switch and turn the game BC when Activision says so. They need to do work, perhaps the work on BO2 will be done in January and Phil knows that cause it's close? That means the game was most likely greenlit ages ago (probably around the same time as BO1 etc)

Yeah, exactly, I know how it works! It's the people that are begging Phil (according to the other post) to get it done that obviously don't know how it works. Begging someone that has no say so on whether it gets greenlit or when the BC team finally gets it done, isn't gonna get it done any faster, IF, and a big IF, they're even working on it. See my point now. I'm sure he's sick of seeing it. I would like to see BLOPS2 also, but I'll believe it when I see it. Personally, I think Activision would rather remaster. But hopefully not.
 
I see a lot of articles from the beginning of the month saying that the Ultimate Edition of Injustice was also made Backwards Compatible when the game was added but has anyone gotten it to work? I just popped my Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition disc into my console and it just shows a disc icon and says "Install Disc." The only option from the burger button is "Help." Installing the disc does nothing but display a notification that the disc won't play on this console. Nothing appears to be downloading to my console anywhere: there is no Injustice in my Games, nothing waiting in Ready to Install, nothing in my Queue. I have restarted the console and power cycled it as well.
This is my first time trying to install a BC game from disc and I thought it would be easier than this...


EDIT: After sitting here typing the above text out, I selected "Install Disc" one last time and the icon changed to the Injustice icon and prompted me to download the game. Pretty frustrating.
 
It should be, something is wrong there.

Either it can't read your disc at all, your not online or they didn't make that version bc.

I don't think so, sadly Rallisport Challenge 2 wasn't even made BC for the 360 (it was an OG Xbox game, one of the best).

It's the only reason I still have my original Xbox hooked up.

Bahh, it already is BC, forget my ignorance from a minute ago:

Just bought Nights on my 360, the Xbox app shows it with a correct square cover icon like all the other back compat games on my achievement list. BC incoming I wonder...
 
I wonder if Castlevania-games or Final Fantasy XIII-trilogy will get a BC one day. I'm getting awfully close to the point where my Xbox 360 is useless.
 
Question, I bought a ton of DLC for Burnout Paradise when it came out on 360 and I can't get the game to recognize it. Does anyone else have this issue?
 
I played a little bit of Lost Odyssey. My first experience with BCing a 360 game. It looked and ran pretty great.

It's kind of amazing how far JRPG va has fallen since 2008. Really good music too.
