Cant adjust the FOV on MCC at 1440/120? I can at 4k60.
2. My son is an expert in Arms and Smash Bros but otherwise has no fighting game experience. He is now at the age where more mature content is ok. What do people think is the best fighting game on Game pass today?
I dont really use it that much but I have tried it just because its there. Works okay for me.Its quick resume working for any if you?
The Mk11 next gen update is weak af. Combat cutscenes are stil 30 fps and loadings screens are... still present. Basically just a 4k texture update.
I don't see any next gen fighting game coming out anytime soon so we're stuck with that.
We are using Visual Studio 2019 on our next (unannounced) project and the benefits are many: faster compile/link times, more responsive UI, much more stable debugging.
So, we’re not actually moving Gears 5 to 2019. We did the work to get Visual Studio 2019 going on PC for the purpose of comparing build times and providing feedback. Gears 5 shipped over a year ago and the game has been very carefully tuned; therefore, we don’t want to take the risk of changing the toolchain as we have limited testing capacity and very slight optimization changes could change the balance of the game in very subtle ways. In addition, the XDK does not support 2019 so we would need to support two toolchains which is something we don’t have the capacity for.
The results of the experiment reinforced our desire to stay current with new versions of Visual Studio for our future projects.
I'll move mine since it ranks up at 70gb...So better off keeping it on the external drive to reserve space for better optimized games on the internal?
Nerd things but...there's also this :
What are some immediate benefits?
i don't know what visual studio is but they have made some tests maybe, they don't want to do any changes in gears 5 now
What prompted the move to Visual Studio 2019?
It's where you program games, pretty much industry standard : )The Coalition Sees 27.9X Iteration Build Improvement with Visual Studio 2019 - C++ Team Blog
Visual Studio 2019 v16.8 Preview 3.2 introduces significant build and link time improvements. In this blog post, we detail how the team in The Coalition building Gears 5 tested the compile and link times in three different versions of Visual Studio. I did a video on Quick Resume feature in action on the XSX.
I'm not great at getting offscreen footage with my phone, apologies for the over exposure. This is more like what it should look like. Whatevs.
Damn! The thirst for next-gen is real. Xbox, PlayStation, Nvidia and soon AMD. Everything sold out with months long waiting lists...I don't fancy my chances of getting one any time this year...
Do you have the choice to not use it? Also why would you not? It's one of the main new hardware features. I'm delighted everytime it kicks in. No need to chase the next save point in a game before ending a gaming session anymore. Hit the pause button, switch off your console and come back days later to the same point in less than 30 seconds. I love it in Gears 5.I dont really use it that much but I have tried it just because its there. Works okay for me.
I remember seeing tweets about some games having the quick resume option disabled temporarily.
I would like to buy a headset for my new series x and I found these following new wireless headsets:
1. Razer Kaira pro
2. Steelseries Arctis 9x (heard of some connection issues)
3. Corsair HS75 XB.
the only use is for the Xbox. Can someone recommend one of those ?
thanks in advance
You can play one game or close games before you open another one if you don't want to use Quick Resume. It's great function but for now somewhat buggy and with quite severe lack of UI informations. I had bug when Valhalla stoped autosaving game after quick resume. That costed me 8h of playtime.Do you have the choice to not use it? Also why would you not? How do I find out if my copy of assassin's creed origins is running the Xbox one version or the Xbox one X enhanced version? Some of these textures are looking a lot worse than I remember.
This is also confusing
Ori 2, I think.Has anyone got a definitive list of Series games that still run from an external, so far I know about Modern Warfare and Sea of Thieves. Any more?

Sounds like it should be blamed on Valhalla no? All quick resume does is slap the current game progress snapshot to the SSD as far as I'm aware. Anyway I'm not dismissing your frustration, I'd be pissed if that happened to me but I find it hard to go back to pre- quick resume days. Only bug I've encountered is when it doesn't kick in for a game. Let's hope future updates resolve that. You can play one game or close games before you open another one if you don't want to use Quick Resume. Does anyone have experience with Turtle Beach Stealth 600/700 headsets?
I think there is some difference between quick resuming BC games and native games and that they tested it more with BC-games as there wasn't many next gen games available. Now that there are, some problems are showing and they are fixing them. For example, BC games might run in an virtual machine, which is easier to handle, than a native game. Just guessing here.Sounds like it should be blamed on Valhalla no? All quick resume does is slap the current game progress snapshot to the SSD as far as I'm aware. FM21 Xbox takes advantage of Microsoft’s Play Anywhere technology to let you seamlessly transfer your progress between your Xbox console and any Windows 10 PC using the same Xbox Live profile.
With Smart Delivery, whether you own the One, One X, Series S or X, FM21 Xbox will work across all of them - and will have a version specific to yours which is optimised to run at its very best.
A clean and crisp match UI gives you an uninterrupted view of the Matchday drama in native 4K on Xbox Series X and upscaled 4K on Xbox Series S and Xbox One X|S.
Xbox Series X|S players can view highlights from league opponents giving you and your scouting team the inside scoop on the opposition before you go head-to-head on Matchday for those three points. You’ll also receive more detailed and valuable stats such as shot maps and Expected Goals (xG) reports – these will show where improvements are needed for your next fixture.
If you’re on Xbox One, you’ll be restricted to loading just five of the best footballing nations, so home in on the trophies that matter to you.
Native games are runing in VM too. That's how whole XBox system is designed since XOne launch. Probably some nenxtgen APIs are not reinitialized correctly in some rare scenarios. Valhalla was trying to save data and didn't shown any error with that.I think there is some difference between quick resuming BC games and native games and that they tested it more with BC-games as there wasn't many next gen games available.
