Anyone have a problem with atmos? I have a LG b9 and a samsung q70t soundbar. When i set the audio settings in Xbox to atmos, i loose for example dialog sounds in valhalla and see other sound issues.
Overall very happy with the console bit the sound thing is bugging me. Had to switch it to stereo for now.

Yea it was awesome to plug in my externals and had ALL of my games just sitting there waiting. Still had to update for next gen though.

Yeah, i am really liking the snappy UI and everything. feels good. Some points

I updated my mixamp this morning so that I can get sound through the USB. Gotta say, the audio is much improved over the one x. Massive improvement.
The auto HDR works really well. I loaded up Halo 5 and played a little bit of the Sunion level.. Really impressed with the results, Halo 5 looks really great imo running 4k locked 60hz with the HDR implementation. Seriously, check it out, I am still amazed by how good it looked on QLED.
Quick resume doesn't work.
Gears 5 and Forza Horizon look incredible! Really nice upgrades. This gen is going to be amazing once we get over the launch window cross-gen games.

I'll post more as I get to play on this more.

I’ve had my series X running all day since I got it this morning and I noticed that it gets really hot when I have it siting vertically in my entertainment center, which means I have to take it out and have it stand up horizontally which is super annoying.

Having an issue with my Series X...

When I first turned it on everything worked just fine, played a couple rounds of Fuser with no issues. Then I decided to queue up my most played games before running out to eat, including Rock Band 4.

I was specifically curious about downloading Rock Band 4, as the Xbox One and even the One X seem to have a really hard time dealing with all of the DLC files for that one. So I queued up the 800+ files and left.

Now that I am back, I am unable to move within the dashboard or the guide menu, if I do anything on the dashboard the screen just turns black (can still open the guide like this though). Within the guide, I can only move one before it closes itself. I literally cannot do anything on this console now except for play Fuser. I thought about just factory resetting the thing, but apparently I have to do this from within the guide menu that I can't operate.

I'm not sure why this is happening but I'm guessing it's because of the downloads. I have no way to check the queue so I don't know what to do now other than play Fuser or plug the One X back in.

Very frustrating. Anybody else have any similar issues?

EDIT: Seems I can still switch games using the Xbox phone app. Gives me some hope that I'm not totally fucked

Anybody have any hard crashes I had 3 once while playing bright memory and two of them playing the tourist. These are both light games. I wonder if it is because I joined back into the alpha skip ahead got a new firmware and the games are just not feeling the firmware. I am hoping that is it. Anybody else with this issue

Same here, I set up everything so it would download my games and then turned it off as I did my XBX for a few hours, expecting my games to be ready when I got back, but nope it just paused all installations instead

This is drastically better than the original. Dieing could take a couple minutes to spawn back in depending on the environment and was one of the prime criticisms of the game.

It seems to depend on where you're currently at too, because I'm in the caves now it's only taking about 6 or 7 seconds. Finally got Forza Horizon 4 downloaded. It looks insane!

You have to move them to the internal drive to get the benefit of the Series X though, correct? I thought that’s what I read.

Just got the XSX up on the big screen. Man, Ori 6K-to-4K supersample mode looks crazy good. XSX is so dense and compact.

I think I have the Xbox App on iPhone all synced so it should be remote installing FH4 right now. We'll see. Hooking up the XSS here in a minute.

Got mine hooked up! First two games I wanted to try were 2K21 and Valhalla. Downloaded first 45GB and Ready to Start! On 2K. Then all of sudden barely downloading.
Switched to Valhalla and same thing download speeds are slowing to a crawl. 15-20 mbps.

is this bc everyone downloading at same time ? Switching to all digital this gen and these download speeds are making it unbearable.

i have Fios gigabit so it’s not the connection

Spent all last night doing updates and moving shit. Today went to a friend's and we gamed alllll day.. Mostly Ghost Recon Breakpoint.. It's finally fun.

Load times for Skyrim on the XSX was awesome. Doom 2016 played super duper buttery. The new Tetris game is odd.
