Varion said:Yeah, what I tend to do is try and accept as many quests as possible, and particularly with regards to the kill X monster or get X item quests I tend to do half of them while exploring without even going out my way. Go around fighting enemies, looking for landmarks, filling in the map and you bump into those monsters and get those items anyway.
The only ones you really have to go out your way for are red quest items or talking to people, and sometimes you can get the red quest items before talking to people anyway, so as soon as you find the NPC you can finish it.
Not having to report back really does make a difference.

Zafir said:Do unique monsters respawn, and if so, how? I killed a unique monster before I got the quest to kill it. Meaning I need to do it again. I've kept going back to the area where it was but it's never there. :/
Yup.slaughterking said:Reporting this to Nintendo is really cute, but it wouldn't be so bad if Nintendo took notice that even mainstream media is promoting homebrew in response to Nintendo's dumb region-locking and non-release policies.
Nah it wasn't. Doesn't matter though, it finally respawned, meaning I could kill it and complete the quest.weeaboo said:Uhm, you probably have that quest marked as completed already

This 1up article on Xenoblade mentioned you could hack your Wii, at least. It didn't give specific instructions and stated they wanted to avoid assisting in piracy though.RurouniZel said:LOL I'd love to see sites like Gamespot and 1UP encourage people to hack their Wiis to play Xenoblade. Then send the articles to Reggie's desk.
It's used to link skills between charaters. It'll be introduced later in the game.Bullza2o said:I notice after some battles my party gets affinity coins. What are they for, and how do we use them?

Yes, you can.R_thanatos said:i bought ouendan , jump stars and i can NOT play them on my 3ds ..curse you NINTENDO
Only DSi enhanced ones are (there are very few of them). And certain rare normal DS games like Sonic Classic Collection for some reason...slaughterking said:Yes, you can.
Normal DS games are not retroactively affected by region-locking.
CruxisMana said:I'm not sure what determines you getting them though.

Actual 3DS games are region locked, though. So far there isn't really a game to make this an issue... everything's getting localized. No import-only gems.... yet.R_thanatos said:Are you saying that i'm living in heresy since the start of this year ?
