Ohhh, you're at that part.Remember how one of the foils made shapes and the orientation of those shapes? think of those shapes while putting the numbers on the poster together.
I did. The order according to the wall is 1689. I keep entering it (1+0, 3+3, 6+2, 6+3) but the locker just will not open. :T
also the motion controls suck really hard on a machine with a hinge.
The 6 and 9 are upside down. The pass is 1986. Oh, and the second pass is 9861.
The non-dead end paths are where the impactful stuff is. It's just getting there past the bad ends and to be continues.I really like this game so far, but one thing I'm finding kinda weird is that although VLR seems to have more endings, all of the ones I've gotten so far have not really had much impact on me. In fact, each time I knew I was walking right into a bad ending just because it was the result of an AB game vote (and because the flowchart makes it super obvious when you're walking down a dead-end path, for the most part). I feel like I'm just checking off the list of bad endings, one by one, as I head toward the true ending. In 999, I rarely felt like any decision I was making had a direct effect, which I guess I kind of prefer. I like being surprised by the effects of my decisions. Oh well, I'm sure some of the endings will be really interesting.
WHY DID I NOT THINK OF THAT? Arg, thanks for making me feel dumb AGAIN, VLR. And thanks for the help. orz. Now I just need the gold file password...
It definitely wasn't for 'no reason.'The endings where everyone died for no reason in 999 were the ones I was iffy about. Same deal here. Just got Clover's ending and Sigma comitted suicide, which was weird. And K wasn't there so it stands to reason that he's the one who killed everyone.
HAHAHAHA YES I AM A GENIUS.
ONLY AFTER A MILLION CRASHES!!!
MY SCHEME TO SOLVE IT AND THEN JUST BLITZING THE SAFE BY RESTARTING THE ROOM WITH THE PASSWORD IN MEMO WORKED! PEC SOLVED!
HURRAH!
It definitely wasn't for 'no reason.'
This game is amazing with headphones.
Bass-boosting headphones to be precise.
I like thatwhenever anyone else gets 9 BP, they're out of there, but when I get it, I get held down or knocked out.
Well in 999 it was like"Hey, a submarine! WHOOPS EVERYONE IS DEAD! Bad End"
This the worst game to play drunk ever.
I wish I could do that, but it's pretty late at night now, lol.I currently have mine hooked to my speaker system *_*
Still in the Ship's quarters?cassette cassette where is the cassette
I need some help with security room. How do I erase the words in the word shuffle puzzle? The game makes it clear that I need to do it but it doesn't say how. I've tried moving them the side of screen, but nothing happens.

Edit: Never mind. I figured it out. Now I feel like an idiot
Theoretically yes I think, since other games have gotten patches before. It's just whether or not Chunsoft is willing to do anything. The problems exist in the JP version as well apparently and that's been out since FebrurarySo these problems with the 3DS version...they can be patched, right?

Did this game just drop a Layton reference? Man I love this game's localization.
Why have we not heard of these issues until now if it's been out for months and months in JP?
...*sigh* I need help please, unless it's this super-random thing. With the archives room. Thanks.
This damned dice game. I have the Gold File password, and I got that no problem. I know how to get the regular escape password, but the dice aren't exactly working my favour. Do I just rotate them clockwise, because I'm trying to write this down and take it out of an isometric look but I'm not connecting with it properly visually. I'll just try again, I guess...

Unfortunately the game didn't sell very well in Japan
To unlock the drawers...
I'm just going off of Zel's postWhy have we not heard of these issues until now if it's been out for months and months in JP?
Unfortunately the game didn't sell very well in Japan and I think only a couple people here imported. ;-;
Odd since I feel like I've already heard about a supposed third game in the series?
The biggest issue with that puzzle is that you need to arrange them by color AND by number at the same time, but because color alone is the answer for the gold file, you need to make sure that the last dice you put in place is in the right position, or else you'll get the File pass instead of the Escape pass.
Thank you both.Pretty sure you need to just align them by color according to the bookmark.
:O, where? Spoil it in spoiler tags and I'll come back to it once I pick my copy up and finish it.
(The mailroom on base is closed on the weekends so my watches and Vita, 3DS copies are still there. ;_
That is really unfortunate, especially in a land of so many visual novels. I've gone through a number of famous ones but 999 and Ever17 are still some of my favorites. Virtue's Last Reward is really polished and a pretty big step up from 999 with how it keeps track of your paths and such.
This writer needs to keep doing stuff, because he is awesome. I love how he goes into psychological concepts and integrates them pretty well into the game.
In an interview Uchikoshi basically said that 999 did much better overseas than domestically. Something like 70% of comments on their official promo vids were from outside of Japan tooOdd since I feel like I've already heard about a supposed third game in the series?
Stumped in a garden...
I'm in B Garden, and I'm on the scale thing. What do I do with the coins? I have already flubbed it up twice. Also, where do I find the key for the tombstone?
