I dont see the problem with some QTE like they are implementing here, I mean it isn't a mele combat game and they look similar to what is done in Ryse, though far less frequent because you will be mostly using ranged weapons...

Yeah, I've become a little too good at spotting gross environment details that it depresses me a bit. It looks like the wall is lacking in corner shadows overall, so maybe it's not finished, but... I don't like using that excuse too often.

It looks good but it's not unbelievable. I'm honestly shocked at some of these reactions. Some cover system gameplay and a QTE and some relatively sharp textures and decent character models make your jaws drop?

I agree, it looks very nice but nothing jaw dropping as that Uncharted 2 E3 gameplay, since people brought that up, or those Witcher 3 gifs floating around GAF.

I'm also not sold on the gameplay, or at least what little we know about it, hopefully it's not a straight corridor shooter and there's some variety to it.

The gameplay in those gifs leaves a lot to be desired though. I thought GAF would be tearing it to shreds because it's just seemingly cover based third person shooting. But then again any game can look bad in a few second gifs.

Its not a fair comparison and far too premature... We are comparing lengthy gameplay sequences to two rather mundane gifs (in terms of scenario). Visually, it looks like it could hang with the impact of those two however.

Also, I don't get the issue with cover based shooting if implemented well.

The game looks phenomenal. The camera work in that fight .gif is fantastic - it looks like a next-gen version of the infamous Resident Evil 4 Krauser fight.

Gameplay-wise, hope the trailer is more interesting. Right now, if I have to be excited by a TPS, it's quantum break.

Gunplay looks like it could be good, a large amount of recoil, needing to burst fire to stay on target, exactly what I like.
