GTAV is a bad game, just that, a bland, boring fetch quest game with too many technical issues. The fact that it got so many perfect scores shows the state of gaming journalism and gaming in general.
Gaming journalism and review branches especially are comprised by people that either lack thumbs or whole limbs, their opinion on whether a game's controls are good or not is giving their lack of basing gaming skill away. Sometimes it feels like they don't play the games they review at all.
Titanfall is another boring FPS and even though they tried to give it some gameplay gimmicks it still feels like CoD in the future.
TLOU gets too much praise for being exactly what every other game should be, a moderately polished game with some original ideas and some old ones mixed together, that runs good enough and looks good enough, but seems GOAT because of how bad everything else is.
Nintendo still makes the best and most polished games, everyone that says they just do rehashes just hasn't played any Nintendo game since the 90's, because each new game they make is better than the previous and they actually offer new gameplay elements with each iteration.
MGSVGZ is worth it's money, every cent of it, and it's a better game than everything else the big 2 have offered since they launched their new consoles. I bought it twise cause i wanted to play both DLC missions and i have no regrets.
Souls series and most P* for the same reason ain't hard, they just need half a brain to play and it conflicts with the rest of the games out these that could be played with your left foot while you use your hands to play guitar.
