Looks fundamentally broken and the 38 metacritic backs that up. I'd be avoiding it.
I decided against buying Prototype 2 last time it was on sale, because it seems like widely spread problem with running it satisfactory on PC at all.
edited: how long this sale will last? I'm probably just being blind as always, but I can't see any deadline.
I really should play Prototype 2. Ive been "saving it" until I (re)play the first but:
A) I never sorted a weird stuttering issue with the first, where it runs perfectly except for a stutter every 2 seconds or so (its not framerate dropping, the game freezes for half a second)
and more importantly
B) I need to stop worrying about finishing games on steam I already finished on consoles, as is the case with the first Prototype. I need to embrace the JaseC in me and realise im now a collector, I will never play all my steam games, let alone replay ones I already finished, even if I finished on console. The sooner I make peace with that, the sooner I can enjoy sequels I have

Singularity was a nice little swansong for Raven. It's been a good few years since I've played the game but it's basically the bastard child of BioShock and Half-Life with its own little ideas sprinkled about here and there.
They're staying where they are until the game has been off the store for a year or two.

Though while I was there, it turns out Praetorians and Imperial Glory were in a bundle from last year I bought. I wonder what chance of steams keys, 1%, 10%, 0.1%?

It's worth pointing these out as they rarely go on sale on Steam and quite a few people are always complaining, doubtful they'll get cheaper.
If it runs good during the two seconds between those hangs it's already superior to P2. The technical issues can be reduced (like limiting the game to one CPU core) but it remains a mess, one of the worst ports I've ever played.

I'm tempted by Tony Hawk, but I've heard this one's bad. Like, very bad. Which is a shame, but I'll pass.
I also feel like getting Gun (never got the chance to play it) and the cheapest Transformers game (don't care one bit about the franchise, but it looks really cool).

I recommend watching a couple youtubes of Gun before giving into that temptation.
I want the newer Transformers game because it actually has colors and also Dinobots. However, when I was much poorer, I passed on getting it for $12.50, so now I don't want to pay more than that for it, haha.

Saints Row 4 is getting a "National Treasure Edition", apparently. Presumably this is the game's GOTY Edition, but unlike this nondescript sub, which popped up a few months ago, there's no DLC just yet.

The 'images' you're loading in have the wrong src attribute. The main one for example is src="506x284.resizedimage"
Obviously .resizedimage is not a valid image file format. It should end in .jpg, .png etc. It's not a browser issue in other words.
Not really bad, just... disappointing I'd say. Although I can't help but think people were just looking at earlier games with rose-tinted glasses and were expecting too much from the upres.
The game has certainly a lot of positive reviews on Steam, so it must've been liked by at least some of the buyers.
