To the point where you don't know what the hell to say.

I also just finished Glass Fleet, and that ending took all the series' fuckery, multiplied it, then put it in a leftover grocery bag and handed it to you like you were supposed to eat that shit up. I don't even know.

In which a little boy spears a man to death and then imagines his father's ghost laughing it off like that's not some twisted shit.

Also Ryoma and Hayato wore wetsuits and there was not a single objectifying shot of them in spite of this. I was disappointed. Gundam and Mazinger would not waste this chance!

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam 24

So the siege and conquest of Von Braun city ends sort of abruptly and confusingly and I'm left with a lot of things I don't think I quite understood. First: how could the Titans so quickly retreat from a city which just a few episodes back we were told "whoever controls controls the universe"? Second: Why did Blex name Quattro the new leader of the AEUG? What kind of system does the AEUG run on that he can do that? Third: Why is Katz such an awful character? Also, why did Char expect that the EF would do anything other than surrender its military power to the Titans? I mean the AEUG started a war with them, and threatened as the EF must feel since they're trying to rebuild their planet after the whole OYW thing, what were they supposed to do?

Actually, really, what was the Earth Federation expected to do other than all the stuff it has been doing? Rebuilding a planet, governing an empire that spans to Jupiter and waging a war is hard to do.

Anyway, other than that, the episode wasn't that bad. Kamille gets to bounce around town like he's some kind of spy, the Zeta is still wicked sweet and I confess that Fa using Haro to knock Reccoa over so she could get onto the Banana Methuss was pretty damn funny.

Also I think this is the first episode in which Lt. Yazan Gable is introduced. He spends Zeta as a bloodthirsty bastard with one hell of a rape face. He spends ZZ Gundam trying to stay fed as total novice Judau clowns with his dork face.

It's a rather gory fighting series where everyone fights using the creatures they have under their control, bit like a 2nd rate Narutaru or something. There are lots of deaths, even important characters tend to die

The main villain's death causes everyone to come back to life.

So what is the absolute worst cliche a writer can put in a romance series?
And I mean something infuriating enough to make you want to find them and punch them in the face.

For me it would definitely be the oblivious character(s) or the whole series being the getting together part with the couple finally becoming official at the very end or near it. These two infuriate me. I can deal with the 'bad boy who has a heart of gold but nobody knows' or 'the transfer student' or 'random childhood friend shows up and he/she is in love with main character as well'

Actually childhood friend bothers me a lot as well. Especially with the whole "When we grow up, I'll marry you!" and them taking that to heart. First of all y'all are fucking kids, which kid in their right mind says that when they're under 10 years old? Especially boys, like most I knew at that age thought girls were icky and didnt' care for romance. Second of all, why would you come back X years later and expect them to care about that? You were kids, kids say a lot of things. Jesus fucking christ Japan.

Two mangas/anime recently took cliches I hate and completely buttstomped them and told them to get the fuck out. Ore Monogatari because the couple gets together really early on and it's complete diabeetus and hilarity, and Baby Steps because

I watched the first arc fine. I'm still not sure if I'm charmed by how old fashioned it is or not. Well, that and the fact that this is what Hyouka might have been like if it was about real cases.

There are many that I didn't like or where just plain bad. And there are those, where I wanted to beat up the directors who did that.
My-Hime was a damn finde anime, until it came to the last episode. And well the Manga of Usagi Drop kicked my guts. Oh and True Tears, fucking True Tears. I can't forgive them for doing that to poor Noe!

The show isnt bad at all. So far its a fun fantasy story with some decent action in it. Could be a lot worse.

Chaika - Episode 4



Outsourced episode, looked pretty bad at times, mostly in the first half. The adaptation is kinda interesting in what they choose to keep and what they omit and change though. The back story in this episode was supposed to be much darker, but what they've done with it feels kinda like a Disney version. Not that I really mind though, since there are tons of try hard grimdark 2edgy4me LN stuff out there anyway. Can't wait for the Scrapped Princess vibes to keep building. Lol.

I know nothing of the adaptation, but whats here does feel more like Scrapped Princess and Im enjoying it quite a bit as such. Then they just added fuel to the fire.

Same here. What we are actually going to pay is a bargain the likes of which I never expected. But I also paid 80$ for all of CCS on DVD originally (all 18 discs) so CCS has been great to me!

Shu's awkward chats with his invisible women are creeping out his visible women a lot more than usual now. Luckily there's this mirror out there that makes them visible and one of the characters from before Episode 4 has it!

The good news is now the invisible women are now visible and the already visible women can see that he wasn't talking to himself the entire time. Shame Shu's a lot weaker now because of it.

Have I mentioned before that I hate the ED to this? That high pitched scream at the beginning of it is not headphone friendly at all.
