Seriously? This sucks. The one thing I thought I could count on with PS4 is all games in 1080p moving forward. BF4 looked great, but I definitely did notice the lower resolution (but could forgive it thanks to 60 FPS).
How the Hell can FFXIV run at 1080p/ 30FPS with all sorts of particle-effects, latency calls and whatever other technological hurtles online games have and none of these shitastic "next-gen" games can?
Unbelievable. And inexcusable.
Pfft! No it's not. Then what's the point of releasing new hardware?
1080p is a standard that I expect to be followed on a system for that kind of price and tech that's in it. BF4 I could cope with not being 1080p. Now this too? Thankfully this is only the second game on PS4 that's not running in 1080p. They better not make it into a habit though. Considering the same system has Infamous SS this is somewhat embarrassing.
900p = noticeable loss of detail.

Haha I love how everyone is making a big deal out of this. How about playing games for the gameplay and the fun? You know, like everyone else does and how its always been before this generation
the multiplayer is rendered in some crazy way, but SP is definitely 1080p
Whats anyones opinion on his reasoning for it being an open world,MP integration, Lots of stuff going on answer for it being 900p/30? As he is somewhat correct, Corrider shooters are going to be easier to reach 1080p/60 as there's less going on. Then again wasn't Infamous SS 1080P locked 30?
This game really cant catch a break, I feel it's all gone backwards for them since they wowed us with the original reveal. I'll still pick it up regardless as not alot else new to play yet.

legit shook, was expecting 1080p30 on PS4, just getting the PC version even if I hate Uplay
Surely the game was in much worse shape 6 months ago than it is now.
Ac was patched with 1080pStill buying it on PS4I'd need to build an entire new PC to achieve stable 1080p/60fps on Watch Dogs
Seems odd especially since ACIV was 1080p.

Probably 720p30 (with some very bad drops), and far inferior geometry, textures, and lighting (and maybe even some massive screen tearing as a bonus).PS360 versions have to be 600p30 then, right?
What's this?
Secondary to what? No one told them to go over budget with shiny and not deliver 1080p/60, unless they'd been cpu bound on gameplay affecting parts of the game.
PC it is then
AC4 launched at 900p pre patch. Maybe they will patch it to support 1080p?

List of games since Half Life 2 fully developed by Valve.
Portal 1 and 2
Dota 2
Yeah they are our saviors
What does this even mean? I'm really having hard time understanding this all.

Well if it is any consolation, the word for apparently from Ubi them selves is that Uplay will only be used for a one time registration of the game (and dlc)... but since rumours also said that the ps4 would be 1080/60, take the whole thing with a grain of salt. Don't trust any of them
Enjoy the extra 108p that only the power of the PS4 can provide.
Killzone SF?
To some extent it's nothing to bitch about, but at the same time it is. In this day and age with the hardware in mind and not to mention the price you have to pay to get it you come to expect a certain degree of quality standards. Resolution being an important one.

No shit. There's a reason people buy $500+ graphics cards - pumping out 2 megapixels 60 times a second is no fucking joke.
Do people really think their consoles will effortlessly do something $1000 PC's can sometimes struggle to achieve without heavy IQ compromises?
What you do with your game overall says more about your game than simply just the number of pixels being pushed. What does it mean? How about focusing on giving the available NPC in the game all kinds of cool behaviors and ways to react to what's going on around them? Something that was too much for last gen? How about the way they've gone about implementing a dynamic weather or wind system throughout the game world that affects debris in the environment. They've designed a game where you're basically hacking everything around you, accessing people's private information in a variety of ways, manipulating the environment around you in all sorts of fun ways. They've got an interesting mechanic where players can invade the games of other players and try to hack their info.
Watch Dogs, I've always felt, would be one of the bigger releases as far as early next gen games were concerned, and considering what their game is doing, I think they have more of a claim than most when they say they they're doing things with their game that go beyond simply just the number of pixels being pushed. But that's just me.
