Make it something celebratory and positive, even if the port quality/FPS is in question. Howzabout Ratchet & Clank Trilogy (Vita) |OT| Is that a Lombax in your pocket?

Also Ys Celceta for $20 is a great deal, go for it. If you like action RPGs (or Ys in general) it's worth checking out.

PSVita GAF, I seek advice! I have $30 on PSN. Should I buy the Sly Cooper Trilogy, Ys: Memories of Celcetta, Persona 4 Golden, or save for future sales?
 
I won a copy of End of Serenity, Natsume's new PSP RPG from Kemco. It has microtransactions ... and when trying to buy them on Vita, it brings up an emulated version of the PSP PlayStation Store. Unfortunately, it's walled off to only EoS content.

This is perfect, the Ratchet series titles are famous for innuendos/pun and that fits the bill perfectly. And we also don't know for sure how the port quality will be so a joke about the framerate in the title will look silly if it actually turns out having a decent one.

If you're going to platinum the game just note that you should change the time of day to overcast so that the comic book pages contrast better (and also that they show up on the radar based on x,y,z coordinate proximity).

People have asked and in return received mixed reports that it is up to Sony QA to approve each platform or that it is up to the developer to submit for each platform or any derivative thereof.

Edit: Looking back on it that one moment in time when Sony accidentally lifted the shackles off Vita PSP compatibility only goes to show just how far they have to go.

Probably not. Other people have reported that Gradius Collection and the other recent PSP EU releases haven't worked via PS3 transfer. It seems like SCEE is done with Vita compatibility for those games.

Isn't it just ticking a box that says 'publish on vita too'? Surely they'll work technically? I just don't understand why they would ignore the opportunity to make more money - especially as they've made the effort to release these for PSP after the PSP has been discontinued.

So confusing. Has anyone tried contacting Konami for comment and heard back?
 
So I rebought Jeanne d'arc because I wanted to replay it on my Vita. Why is it that I can't download it on my Vita? It shows up on the Vita psn store but why would Sony make unavailable for download? :/

I just wanted to replay it on my Vita :(

If you're not going to play a game immediately, never buy outside of sales. Things on Vita go on sale (or even free) fairly often.
That said, you need need NEED to play Persona 4 Golden.

I think it's one of those weird games that have to be downloaded on a ps3 and then transferred over to the Vita? No idea why though, it's strange.

That's messed up of Sony to keep it up on the Vita store. I don't have a PS3 atm because mine died on me and it sucks to wait until I buy a replacement. It also blows because I still can't imagine that there will be a price cut any time soon.

Ugh, yeah, that is annoying! I use my ps3 to download all the PSP/ps1 games I buy and then transfer them to the Vita (it's all the exercise my ps3 gets most days, sadly) because when I download stuff on the Vita the downloads usually end up paused once the device goes to sleep. :\

I guess Sony doesn't believe anyone can own a Vita (it's an extender, right?) without a ps3. =____= Can you get a refund though? If you can't download/play the game.

Downloading through the PS3 isn't much of a problem but it is an annoyance. I can always go to my friends house and download it.

It's just a pretty shitty move by Sony by putting a game on the Vita PSN store and it then not being available for download. Not everyone has a PS3 or PS4 . Then that person won't be able to play a game that they bought. It's bs honestly and Sony should address that issue or take it off the Vita store, keep it on the web store with a disclaimer.

Yeah, they should definitely fix it... but it's unlikely they'll ever actually get round to doing so. :\
 
Hmmmm...... The Ratchet and Clank is three games packaged into one?

I loved the games during the PS2 era and how addicting they were in terms of collecting and shooting guns, so this in my radar for sure.

Although judging by the quality of PS2 ports so far I should probably hold my excitement in check.

The Sly collection was pretty good, the cutscenes were appalling but the games played great.
 
Again, Ratchet is by the studio that did Jak Vita... BUT the Jak games are really difficult to port, use strange parts of the PS2 etc. Thus I fully expect R&C to run at least a little better.
 
Daily reminder don't support Aksys scammy tactics, they removed the jpn voices for the Vita release of BB:CP didn't mention until questioned after release, don't buy it or buy the PS3 version.

Yeah same here. Plus Insomniacs comments about not wanting another Full Frontal Assault Vita incident so I think it'll suprise people.

Come to think of it I still think that's why we haven't heard about Into the Nexus Vita after the rating, it was running on the same engine as FFA so they probably didn't end up getting desirable results for it.
 
There's probably close to a 0% chance that Minecraft will ever go on sale, right? I'm interesting in the Vita version, I might just buy the PS3 version now.
