Wish we could say more.

But we can't, since the iWatch speaks for itself.

AI watch. It speaks to YOU. It's alive. 24/7.

It lives. It breathes.

It's Apple.

It's U2.

You too.

iWatch.

Forever.

I thought I was going to be working all day. I was going to turn my phone off and stay away from all spoilers and just watch the live event tomorrow night.

Now it sounds like a light day at work and I think I can watch it live!

You can install the GM without a dev account right? I think I'd rather wait until I get it on my iPhone 6 so it feels even more new.

Yes. Hopefully that's a not quite final design and that's filled in. Can't see a reason for that to be there aside from cost cutting, which would be disappointing. :'(

Probably what I'm looking forward to most. That 3GS feel.

Cost cutting? It's there in order to allow you to easily push those buttons since they are recessed now.

hmm. not sure if a bigger phone and an accessory watch counts as anything historic. cool, sure, but historic? Either this little headline is hyperbole of the finest order or something else is… nah, it’s gotta be just hyperbole

Eh, everyone is waiting for apple to finally deliver on the watch. Apple rarely lets anyone in behind the scenes so that alone is fairly remarkable .

WWDC 14's keynote blew me away. Can't wait to see what they have in store. Also, any presentation hosted by Phil Schiller and Craig Federighi should be an awesome watch, even if the content fails to impress.

All the rumors I've been reading in the last 48 hours seem to be saying that the iWatch is essentially a glorified iPhone accessory. If that turns out to be the case, I'll almost certainly take a pass on it, I imagine... at least this year.

Hyped! Luckily, I'm gonna be able to watch this live for the first time in forever, I usually have something on the agenda that prevents me from watching Apple events.

If the iWatch is good, I'm getting myself one by the end of the year. If it's underwhelming, it'll be a new iPad to replace my aging iPad 1.

Either way, Apple gets my money this fall :P

So this cant just be an iphone and Iwatch right? Hype level is too high lol
Just?

JUST?

Are you kidding me. Apple comes out with new tech, like REAL NEW THEY HAVE NEVER DONE IT BEFORE tech, once every several years.

This isn't just it. It is IT.

iPhone, wearable, Itouch, Apple TV + espn subscription, retina iMac, and $200 Mac mini have all been confirmed.
Wait, what!? Do I have to be blessed with a particular ISP/Cable provider who convienently doesn't operate in the area I live in to get this? (I know, I know, just wait 16 damn hours...)

For reals. The last big apple hardware thing was the iPad if I'm remembering correctly. It's kind of funny cause I'm so excited for the new iPhone that I'm almost forgetting that the watch is coming out and that has the potential to be so damn awesome. Probably because the iPhone is coming out soon while we will most likely be waiting a bit for the watch.

This might be the first iOS update I grab at launch. Love a jailbroken iphone, but it is absolutely not a necessity anymore since iOS7.

So what's the deal with online Apple Store pre-orders? Do they ever come before release day? And if something is damaged and it needs exchanging, am I screwed or do they reserve stock for DOAs?

Assuming you don't live in some rural area with limited postal options, my iPhones (5,5s) have always arrived on time the day it was released.

When I got my iPhone 5 via online on launch day, the screen had some weird defect where the screen was just completely unresponsive to touch. Booked an appointment for the next day at my local Apple Store, and they swapped my defective 5 for a new one on the spot.

You think apple has to host the software on their servers in order to be getting it legitimately?
It's free. They don't care if you download it.

Of course they do. Otherwise they'd just OTA it for everyone.

Bear in mind too, without a developer account, should you encounter any issues you're on your own. AppleCare will not help you.

Oh shit, as in a brand new boxed one?

Same here. It's been an insane few months for developers.

Apple is getting ready to give the software away for free in a week or two. They don't release it to the public to cover themselves in case they find some unforeseen huge bug. Of course if you install it early it is at your own risk. Nothing about that make it "not legitimate". And Apple themselves don't care if you download it early. They do nothing to stop it.

Well, also to give developers a few days to get iOS 8 compatible apps submitted or fix any critical bugs. There are still a couple apps on beta 5 that crash on me at startup.

Yup. This is only for like the first couple of weeks when supply is fresh. After a while they have the refurbished units. I had to do this three times with my iPad 3. I kept getting units with dead pixels. It may be bad luck on my part, but I don't think I've ever bought a new iPhone without any screen defects. It's always something.

Also, you guys think the hype for the event tomorrow is like when Nintendo releases a megaton on E3? :P
