He gave a 6/10.
Justified maybe, i think he could have been more positive ..

2. Loot. It needs to drop more frequently, or when it drops it needs to be interesting. Games like Diablo and Borderlands get this right.
28:35 is the perfect description of Destiny players LOL.
Compares us to a wife that keeps getting beat up but he can't stop going back because he wants to get one of those exotics.
Unless incompetence can be monetized by malice.Angry Joe summarizes exactly my opinion of the game, although he thinks most of the game's faults are due to them moving content to expansions pack to milk more money from the title. I disagree. Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence.
It does after level 15-16, the stats of the weapons improve significantly and you can customize different weapons, however they are still not as half as awesome as Diablo or Borderlands...
After hitting level 18, I am beginning to wonder what level 20 opens up for me...
It's a solid 7.5, maybe with time a 7.8. There's just too many obnoxious elements to the game. For me PVP is exactly what Halo was. It's better than Halo 4 but it's essentially halo with ADS and some super abilities. It has all the hallmarks of the frustrating Halo experience:
-movement that's sluggish and unintuitive. everything is on a delay from controller to screen
-netcode that's terrible and consistently terrible
-balance issues with some cheap aspects of the game like melee and super abilities that have no counter
-barely enough ammo to fight more than 1 person at a time
-overpowered snipers
-terrible maps with awful sight lines that don't make sense for a FPS
It can still be rewarding when it works well, but when it doesn't it's the worst.
I tend to feel the same - without any real evidence backing it up - but it wouldn't surprise me if the game wasn't finished on time, they put out what they could for the 9/9 release date and will rely on DLC to flesh out the game more. Not incompetence per se, but maybe just falling behind schedule. There are so many 'blurred out' doorways and passages in the game that suggest more content (or maybe just a really terrible way of blocking passage).Angry Joe summarizes exactly my opinion of the game, although he thinks most of the game's faults are due to them moving content to expansions pack to milk more money from the title. For me, this is the game's single biggest misstep - even above the legendary engram catastrophe. It's evident Bungie have zero experience in designing around this type of gameplay system. Level 5 opponents drop the same gear with the same frequency as the level 24 opponents... so why bother with level 24 opponents? The player who went AFK and ended up 0-35 in The Crucible gets the same chance at the same gear as the player who went 35-0 in the same game... so why bother playing? In Strikes, Bosses don't drop loot... so why are they in the game?Would be nice to have something for being awesome in strikes even if it's not legendary gear =(.
Not sure if serious?
-movement is fast and accurate
-netcode is ace for me (aside from when lizard squad does it's thing)
-more than enough ammo to put down 5 people. Unless you mean magazines, which I can't really take as a serious negetive
-overpowered snipers? really?
-AMAZING maps that make everyone fight for everything and gives you several paths of approach.
Seriously, I don't know what some people play these days...
Unless incompetence can be monetized by malice.
There is not a single story thread dangled that resolves in the pre-DLC game. The Black Garden is the big bad but you know next to nothing about it or why its as important as its made out to be. The rest: Rasputin, the Hive gods outside of the system, the Awoken Queen's motives, why the Vex were gathering - all of it seems like introductions to the DLC.
I get the impression that serious knives were taken to this game to get it out of the door - and holding back what they could for DLC wouldn't surprise me one bit, though I guess we'll never know.
. I hope Bungie sit down and watch it, and think hard about releasing a ton of free content as quickly as possible. Otherwise I predict this game will be dead by the end of November
I swear Bastion is one of the worst MP maps I have ever played. I hate everything about it.
Looks Like he took it down.. His basically trashing the game ...
Content is the problem? Really? I think it has a lot of content actually. The problem for me is the games design. The people that argue that this isn't Halo is out of their minds. In terms of design this is exactly what Halo Reach was but with ADS. There's very little that is fresh about it.
All the maps are pretty mediocre actually.
Very serious. How long have you been playing shooters?
I think he praised PvP a little too much but I agree with the points made in Angry Joe's review
Very disappointing
Yep
Not a fan of him but it's kind of hard to disagree on almost everything he says
Well plenty of people in the OT seem to be disagreeing on his points lol.
Well it looks like people really dont listen to reviews. I expected to find at least some second hand copies in the shops by now, sold my copy for 38 quid and a kid immediately wanted to buy it. Looks like marketing does work, sales will probably be high for a while in spite of its mediocrity.
I dunno, people enjoy Candy Crush as well. I guess it's fine that they enjoy it, but it doesn't stop GAF from looking down on casual games and thinking that they're a waste of time.Or the majority of people are enjoying the game possibly?
Well plenty of people in the OT seem to be disagreeing on his points lol.
Some people really like grindy and random. Imagine if this was your first taste of MMO loot style mechanics. You'd be crazy for it.
It could have been so much more.
I dunno, people enjoy Candy Crush as well. I guess it's fine that they enjoy it, but it doesn't stop GAF from looking down on casual games and thinking that they're a waste of time.
Joe is so goddamn right.
Well plenty of people in the OT seem to be disagreeing on his points lol.
Lol you seem to be the imbicile if you ignore ALL of his valid points.
This game blows dicks.
His review is spot on.
Here is Angry joe's review:

People are imbeciles if they don't agree with you or the Joe's review? Nice.

Even you can't deny that Joe is one of the few intellectuals of the gaming community.
This game blows dicks.
I've been eloquent enough in previous threads where I wrote out my complaints and nobody agreed with me and everybody jumped on me for critiquing Bungie.
the game has grown on me in a big way, but the lack of good storytelling is a still a flaw that bothers me. fuck grimoire cards, put that shit in the game itself!
I'm just describing the attitude people here have with people who do enjoy the game.So the only people enjoying Destiny are ignorant casuals? Ok dude
I agree with Joe's review though. Just find MMaRsu funny for raging at people because they don't agree with him and his awesome critique of the game.
Ah, I disagree respectfully. I've always found that manly rhetoric on the internet requires certain amount of backbone. We shouldn't tolerate all sorts of nonsense.
Or it could possibly be the way you're talking about the game and reviews,
People are imbeciles if they don't agree with you or the Joe's review? Nice.
Angry Joe is an imbecile.
We shouldn't tolerate people having differing opinions and should be allowed to give shit to those that disagree? Wah? Get out of here junior.
A lot of it is fixable. Whether or not they want to appeal to people who don't want to grind is another problem though.Joes review is truth.
Cannot believe the faults of the game. If I have more fun exploiting the cave of treasure hack than the regular game proper:there is a problem with the game.
