Invective is pretty solid, and it's one of the eaiser ones to do I believe. I currently have the Toland's Legacy one I'm waiting on Xur for.
That's because boots were somewhat recently added to the item database. You can't find them, they're most likely items from the upcoming two DLCs.

If anyone's on the fence about doing the Invective bounty... do it. You've probably heard about it in this thread already. It is so good in Crucible. Take down blade dancers. Killing sprees all day. Got 43 kills in one Control game last night.

Those stand asides legs would be beastly for PVP. I am a fan of the shoulder charge. Want those just for that.
Would buy a Glasshouse as well, although if both offered at the same time, the helm would likely be a random class roll. Got the Skullfort that way from Xur.
Be aware that Fist of Havok will break through Ward and kill anyone inside, that Nova Bomb will pop Ward and expose you to whatever Nova effects (and if I remember, a Shatter version will kill you anyway) and that two Golden Gun shots will also pop the bubble.

Yup, I see that WoD is pretty much countered by every other super out there, which I assume is intentional.
I could see a Strength and Discipline build with No Backup Plans gauntlets to make sure that grenades and melee are constantly recharging as fast as possible be very effective and fun now that I think of it, especially if you stack armor buffs where melee recharges grenades and/or vice versa. So for a Defender, Dead Orbit could be excellent.
And maybe a PvE build for Striker Titans since FoH may be too risky in high level play, instead focusing on flash bangs and Transfusion for survivability. Insurmountable Skullfort would be great there too I think.

I might have to lean on you for the +25 K/D spread in Crucible. The only other time-consuming part is 5 strikes without dying.
Yep exotic items have definitely been underwhelming for the most part, considering how you can only equip one item for weapon/armour I was expecting some more unique and useful perks for the exotic stuff... Helm of Inmost Light is probably the exception for me as it actually gives you two class abilities essentially for free, wish more exotic gear went this route to be honest.
Also while I'm here, does anyone want to team up for the level 26 Weekly Heroic strike on PS4? Got to the final boss yesterday but was doing so little damage to him that I would have had to chip away at him for a long time before I would beat it.

Nice, can you do that K/D spread part as a team or is it individual only? We could easily get that on a couple skirmish matches.
They really need to allow matchmaking for the Daily + Weekly events. I understand them not allowing it for Raids, but cmon, unless the Daily/Weekly strikes are on the same level as the Raid, throw me in there with 2 other people please. They're the best source for Materials and I hate going to that matchmaking site and having to constantly chat and then add people just to do one of them.
This has to be false. I'm #1 every time when I play with friends and we get the W... And I'm still the only one that gets nothing, but the bottom 2 get legendary engram. Smh.

Not true, it's the same randomness that it is in PvP. You either get loot or you don't, kills don't seem to mean anything.

I kept getting oneshot by that thing last night from pretty much anywhere, it was highly annoying.
My Invisible Hand does not have the same effect, but it isn't leveled yet.

You'd probably have more success telling folks which system you are raiding on, and whether it's normal mode or hard mode
It's more of a lamentation than anything. I've pretty much given up asking in here for raid partners, destinylfg is far better but it's been pretty slow today.
Even so, got a pretty solid team of randomers from lfg going now!
I'll be up for that at some point, it's a bit of a pain.

It's incredible when its levelled. The four burst fire is so good for taking down majors.
Yeah, Inmost light is crazy. I'm using it as my exotic slot right now but unfortunately I've moved from striker in pvp to pretty much defender only, it's way too much fun to bubble and play mind games. I'd like a helm of saint 14 to replace it eventually.

These are the reasons I might actually wait and see if they release some new armor that can get to 30. I just have a personal belief that if everyone has to homogenize to be at the top, then the loot based game failed its job.

Does anyone else get far more Shards than Energies? I'm currently sitting at 68 Shards, 10 Energies, and I've only fully upgraded one legendary + 1 exotic weapon so I haven't used that many of them.

I think it's individual but assists count towards the spread. I've heard it's not that bad but what do I know. I have to get through the 5 strikes without dying first. Then I'll worry about that.
Oh, it's a good Shotgun, but it's not amazingly exceptional, and for stuff like certain Heroics, the Nightfall and the Raid, a Sniper Rifle or Fusion Rifle is just better, safer, more practical and more useful. When I use my Invective, I mostly use it in Crucible, and I haven't been playing that a lot lately.

Me either, those look awesome but I'm not so sure if I'd want to use them. I think the helm of inmost light is still more valuable for a striker titan, but no doubt those boots would help cause some tears in PvP
I agree, although I would like an exotic in each category (helmet, gauntlets, chest, boots) to supplement the need to switch what is equipped based on raid gear obtained. Also, down the road I'm hoping expansions and DLC will force the need for specialized classes, which can be affected by equipped gear.
Yeah I would much rather have my exotic pulse rifle out and have the comedian anyways so I'm one step away from just turning my invective into energy.

It does however in PVE as it will in the upcoming Iron Banner event when all damage and upgrades do count/matter, so it's worth doing so you have a weapon you like.

Complete opposite for me (not that I have many of either). I almost always get energy for doing public events and even half of the time for the weekly stuff.

Things to note, im lvl 29, the gun is not fully leveled it's one stage below 300 damage, so 288?
A headshot to a lvl 24 Knight does 86 damage per shot, bottom half of the magazine does 88 damage per shot.
I guess it all adds up but its nothing to write home about.

So does anyone know an easy place to do the "Kill 2 enemies with 1 fusion rifle shot, 20 times" bounty? I really hate that one, such an arbitrary criteria. They really need to switch up the types of bounties.
Ok, cool. I'm kinda sorta tempted to go for Platinum in this game, but leveling up the other two subclasses honestly sounds like the worst part. I'd like to try for the no-fire team-death raid trophy sometime too.

Seriously, I've gotten 6 more shards just this morning. Did a public event with main character - 2 shards in the mail. Did a public event with secondary character - 1 shard awarded at event, 1 shard in the mail. Decrypted a legendary engram - 2 more shards.
This happens to me almost every day. Meanwhile energies are the rarest material in the galaxy.

Other way around for me. I have plenty of Energy, but those Shards can't be found anywhere.
I wish there was a trade system of some kind.
I get energies quite often. That said, the game has come to an equilibrium when it comes to distributing energies and shards to me.
I think it's the first moon mission. The door opens and you can blast away the hive and then die. You'll get your fusion rifle kills very quickly.
