Check with the other vendor that's in that same building as the post master. Forget her name but she should have all that stuff from the redeemed codes.

edit: just fyi - if you are 25/26 you will need to Haul. Ass. into that back corner to avoid any of the initial fire from the boss. Definitely helpful to have 2 people in this strike as if you do end up running out of ammo one of you can stand in front of the "entrance" to the box area and let the ads or the boss kill you and then get revived with a nice chunk of primary ammo back in your gun.

Oh man I found out something today and got really pissed off.

I had no idea you could only have a max of 200 marks. That would be fine and dandy if any marks I was (actually wasn't) earning didn't count toward my weekly cap

WHAT THE HELL! That's ridiculous.

So I played a bunch of crucible and had about 30 marks go to waste. Thank you Bungie.

does the game ever notify you of this?

I'm fine with this. Every week Xur sells items that i got from actually playing the game. I rather it be a gamble then a guarantee. And yes seeing everyone run around with suros made mine feel so not special. I wanna see more variety in what people use.

Hmm.. me and my buddy managed it with relative ease. There was never a point where we were in any real danger during the boss room. Hardest part was getting past that first room with the colossus and a bunch of flayers.

Headshots with an arc sniper are truly ridiculous in this nightfall. His lieutenants were going down with like 4 or 5 shots.
 
Getting Ascendant Shards is starting to get ridiculously easy. Everyone is going to be level 29 in no time. I really hope Bungie has a plan. I have a feeling they don't.

I just got 12 shards just today. 3 from buying an armor from the vanguard guy. 1 from a public event. 2 from dismantling a legendary. 2 for completing the daily. 4 more from dismantling 2 more legendaries that I got from engrams and rewards from completing heroic strikes.

So you have to have a maxed out LegendaryArc Sniper or have the uber Exotic Ice Breaker...

So you have to have the weapons to even try this >_<

No worries. always the rng from the raid to slow us down.
 
This is almost embarrassing to post about. But this game has really given me an itch to RAID. Making me want more and more, which sadly the game can't scratch this itch hard enough.

Is anyone interested in playing.... WoW? Fuck if it's an old game, but damn do they know how to design some good raids. I haven't played in 6 years, but I'm thinking about resurrecting my character, levelling from 70-90 (or possibly using the level 90 boost), and hitting the new expansion pack in November. I can just find a random guild, but I love playing with gaffers, and like the community in this thread.

Anyone interested in joining me during Destiny downtime while waiting for lockouts to reset or when there's nothing to do in Destiny?

29+ wondering why I didn't buy the physical copy so I could trade it in for half of mordor.

Not my experience at all. 1-20 grind and level. Make friends establish groups. 20-27 smash my nuts against hard content when im under leveled. 28+ rock out in the raid, cruise through night strikes and try to get a group for hardmodes.
 
Wee, finally got my first exotic bounty last night! ^_^

Went for Super Good Advice, which probably wasn't the most sensible thing to do. But I do <3 machine guns.
 
So tonight I had to solo the tiger version of the winter's whatever strike because my teammates got disconnected and holy hell never again. That priest boss is a monster and the adds are seemingly infinite.
 
Did anyone independently verify the fifth RAID chest? I found that place on my own a few days ago. Me and Private Hudson were walking through those caves. But I didn't see any chest in that spot. I know some people say it doesn't always spawn.

When we got to the bottom we had to leave the raid and come back in because the door to the cave wouldn't open too...
