Yeah, that's my point. I think they have a subtitle already, but I think it might be a spoiler to reveal it now. That's the only reason I could think as to why they wouldn't mention it.

That's what i'm thinking as well. I'm actually really wondering where it goes from here. I mean, obviously there has to be bridge to get Thanos to Earth or the avengers to space sometime in phase 3. Guardians should play a major roll in that.

Its a movie though. Focusing on a few core relationships is why those movies are good. Its one of the reasons I dont like the Marvel movies as much cause everything feels thin, especially in Avengers and GotG. You dont have time for character or relationship development.

Big picture though, I feel the characters develop over the movies combined. Thor 2 and Cap2 really proved to me that once you get the origin story out of the way, there is a lot of development that can be pushed.

Winter's Soldier had so much personal relationships and developments between so many of the characters. Captain, Black Widow, Fury, Falcon and Maria Hill. So much additional development and sides to all these characters that we had been lacking. In one movie it grounded them, and it did so for the big picture.

In X-Men certain periphery characters stayed peripheral, they stayed mediocre. The core plot suffered for the side plots. Where as MCU I don't think that's the case. It's all building up to something. It's a multifaceted story.

I'm really interested in what the item is that Ant-Man is after. My guess is Age of Ultron is going to lay the foundation for Civil War with Ant-Man kickstarting it at the end of the film. There hasn't been a mention of San Francisco so far in the MCU, right?

Inhumans and Captain Marvel will definitely be in Part 2. Otherwise what's the point in putting them between the two parts?

Wouldn't the two parts have to occur at two different time? Lets say months or maybe even a year apart? If part two takes place directly after part one that doesn't leave room for Captain Marvel and the Inhumans to get involved. But if the two movies do take place at two different times then sure, Marvel and the Inhumans can deal with there threat and then get acquainted with the rest of the heroes and form the greatest team up in the history of movie team ups.

For me, it's Storm. Storm was one of the characters as a kid I felt embodied power, responsibility and maturity. I think in many ways she even broke gender expectations for me early on. She should ooze leadership.

In Singer's X-Men she was a glorified step-mom who took out the X-Mansion trash every week. As a result, the relationships between X-Men lost a certain.. unity? I was looking for.

I think Wolverine, Professor X and Magneto are the only characters Fox gives 100% of their attention. Which worked out well for First Class and The Wolverine (the latter which I feel is one of the best adaptations of a comic book storyline to film), but moving forward is a worry. I know most characters will get recast but I'm not particularly thrilled about some of the ones we already know about (Mystique, Gambit). Even in First Class/DoFP, most of the team members end up feeling periphery in favour of focusing on a few core relationships. Even dumping characters aside entirely once they're plot function is done with (QS).
Honestly most X-men characters are horribly written in the movies.

Rogue, Cyclops and Storm are the biggest offenders who are nothing like their comic counter parts.

I don't mind the x-men movies but I've never liked the fact that the focus is about Woleverine(and now Magneto/Xavier) and not the whole team.

Well, that depends. If Part 1 and Part 2 take place back-to-back, Captain Marvel and Inhumans could take place at the same time, just somewhere else for them to show up for Part 2. If there's time between, their stories could take place then.

I'm just saying, they're not stuffing Captain Marvel and Inhumans between the two parts for nothing. Infinity Wars Part 2 is the climax of the entire MCU up to that point: everyone is getting involved

Killing them is a way of sending them off that tells people not to expect them back. They could still bring them back from death and explain it away, but they don't want fans watching every movie without Iron Man and Cap wondering when or if Iron Man or Cap will show up. Death is a way of squashing that while also leaving them open for return at some point. As for sending them to another dimension, that's essentially death. I mean, the general public thinks Red Skull is dead and I feel pretty damn certain that that isn't the case. He's just somewhere else in the universe.

Uhhhh idk about Red Skull lol. After Weaving's comments and the fact that we haven't had the slightest hint he's still kicking around I think he might be gone for a while still if not for good.

It would be pretty funny if Civil War is some kind of manipulation on Red Skull's part tho.

Think about this. Marvel & Disney are gonna make a mint off of merchandise from all of these movies. Avengers: Infinity War merchandise alone would make enough money to fill Scrooge McDuck's money pool x1006 x9001.

They are gonna be trillionaires?

It's all fun and games until Ultron crashes your party.

Here's my well-thought out break down:

Ant-Man: This looks to be similar to GotG as a more comedic superhero movie. Paul Rudd is likeable so I can see it being entertaining.

Captain America Civil War: Who knows what they are going to do with this. We can guess by now that it's not going to follow Civil War to the letter, but will they keep the principal struggle between Iron Man and Cap? I suppose this movie will tie in heavily with whatever happens in Avengers 2.

Doctor Strange: Magic everywhere in this bitch. I'm not sure how they're going to tie magic into the series that is mostly focused on sci fi. I guess Thor is kind of a magical dude though. I just don't see how it ties into the big picture. Is THANOS weak to magic?

Guardians of the Galaxy 2: We will probably get a bigger helping of THANOS in this flick. They also need to set up how the GotG team up with the Avengers.

Thor Ragnarok: I didn't see the second Thor movie. Is Loki dead? Will Loki do something? I bet THANOS is in this movie.

Black Panther: I know a lot of people were anxiously awaiting this. I don't get the qualms about his costume, it looks just like the comics except with those obligatory sections everywhere. I can see this being the most successful of the new IPs introduced in phase three.

Captain Marvel: I know nothing about her outside of the sexy black suit. She's like Superman kinda? Something something THANOS

Inhumans: More like In-who-mans. Aren't they bad guys? Do they team up with THANOS?

Avengers Infinity War: Holy shit THANOS. They kind of jumped the gun with that picture of him wielding the infinity gauntlet. Why should I care about Age of Ultron after seeing that? The eff's Ultron gonna do to top that? And a two parter? Damn you Harry Potter for starting this. The text strongly reminds me of Star Wars, I can't be alone on this.

Pretty crazy that MCU went from Iron Man making his suit in a cave with a box of scraps to all out galactic war. Just imagine if they had FF, X-Men, and Spidey with them...

Thor Ragnarok: I didn't see the second Thor movie. Is Loki dead? Will Loki do something? I bet THANOS is in this movie.

major spoilers
Everyone thinks Loki is dead, having fallen fighting alongside Thor. Instead, he returned to Asgard, presumably killed his father, and is now sitting on the throne while disguised as Odin. Thor refused the throne and left to protect Earth. Loki in disguise basically went "Oh good luck son.... teeeheehee"

If they had X-Men and Spidey, we likely wouldn't be seeing Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Inhumans or Guardians of the Galaxy

I'm not saying that they have a definite plan in place for him, but I think they shot that scene the way they did so he is open to return. I mean, look at the plane scene. Red Skull grabs the Tesseract, a hole opens up showing the universe, and he disappears into that hole. It's shot very similar to the scenes in the Thor films when he travels between realms. I just think they wouldn't have shot it that way if they wanted it to be absolutely clear that he's dead.

No one ever dies. Apparently even Abomination is running around Canada or Alaska or something

Any chance of them releasing official HQ version of Infinity War teaser?

I guess it wouldn't really make sense to release it before Age of Ultron but the teaser is already on youtube anyway (cam quality though)

Doubt it. The only reason they released the trailer is because they were already planning on doing that anyways.

So phase 4 will be Blade, Ghost Rider and Alpha flight right?

Black Widow is the only real hint that we've gotten.

Good chances for
Nova (though this might be wrapped into guardians)
Guardians 3
Nick Fury (this may never pan out as he is in everything to a good extent)

They are working to get the rights to Dare Devil and Galactus

There was a hint for Black Widow in Phase 4?

Also Marvel has the rights to Daredevil, they're making a Netflix show for him. Fox wouldn't budge on the Galactus rights

So is Loki's Staff confirmed to be the Mind Stone?

I guess that's 2 stones left.

when you think about what that Alien who serves Thanos said to Loki about who gave him power and what his staff did (controlling the others, subtlety getting the Avengers and Fury at each other's throats)...

It makes sense tbh

the
look Thor gave when Cap made his hammer budge a bit was fucking priceless

Daredevil is getting a netflix show from Marvel because they got the rights back. They've already cast him and filmed stuff plus a costume was shown.

I'm sure Marvel's lawyers will seek to find out otherwise.

But a stand alone Black Widow film after phase 3 has been mentioned by Feige.

I was gonna say Scarlett will be old as hell by then but she's only 29..wow. I don't know why but I thought she was late 30s.

please no Galactus.

Why would they ruined the Planet Hulk announcement by putting alongside a terrible story like WWH?
The same way they ruined the Infinity War announcement by putting it alongside a terrible story like Civil War?

Don't bring comic biases into this, it makes no sense.

Seriously I'm tired of people doing that, it's like they can't get it out of their minds that a movie isn't going to be some exact adaptation of the comic book storyline.

I dont see them doing a complex issue like superhero registeration in a 2 hour movie with the standard depth of a marvel movie without it being painfully dumb. WWH, well you got me. I just fucking hate that comic.

My Hype Levels:

1. Inhumans
2. Avengers: Infinity Wars (both)
3. Captain America: Civil War
4. Captain Marvel
5. Doctor Strange
6. Guardians of the Galaxy 2
7. Black Panther
8. Thor: Ragnarok

Come on guys, there is only one person that can be Carol Denvers
katee-sackhoff-hd-wallpapers-95167413.jpg

She's a very basic actress. Works in small doses, her anchoring an entire movie? can't see it...

Emily Blunt would be a fantastic choice. She nailed it in Edge Of Tomorrow. But would she want to be locked into a potential franchise?

She was one of the main anchors for BSG and was one of the best things about it so yeah, I think she could handle being one for a superhero franchise.
