Yeah, the first one very recently went out of print. It's still readily available for cheap on Amazon though.

Awesome. Ennis/Dillon's Punisher is one of my top 3 favorite runs of all time. That makes it all the more unfortunate that the rest of the Marvel Knights run is out of print. It takes patience, but reasonably priced collections will pop up on eBay occasionally. I scored the volume 2 OHC (the OHC collecting the issues directly after Welcome Back, Frank) for just $19 a couple months ago. Such great, great stuff. It's just a joy to read.

Just ordered Criminal Deluxe Ed from IST.
Jonesin for some Ed Brubaker/ Sean Phillips love.. didn't know anything about Criminal so I watched a review on it,, it looks glorious.

I disagree, Jim Lees art carried the recent Superman Unchained. I think he is a great artist. But I'm saying, they are probably doing a one-shot for this event.

To me it looked like it was falling apart after the first couple of issues like his work always does. And the amount of easy pages Snyder threw him (a red blur through space!) were cringingly obvious.
IMO he's been surpassed in every field by folks like Tony Daniel who do everything he can do but better and quicker. He draws a decent "stock man", his women are all pinch faced and cinched of waist and his celebrated eye for detail can devolve into a mess of lines when he's up against a deadline.
Anyway, just my two penneth.

All pre-Disney EU stuff is no longer canon, except for the 3D Clone Wars series. It's still going to be reprinted, but under the "Star Wars Legends" banner. It sucks, but I think it might be for the best.
These Convergence books sound hype. I'm definitely interested now.

Okay, so my big Marvel read of all the major events from 2004 onward needs to get back on track. I read up to the end of Secret Invasion, and need to continue on to Dark Reign now. But after SI, I switched back to the cosmic side and couldn't stop, and went all the way to the end of Thanos Imperative, which more or less appears to be the end of Cosmic Marvel until Bendis' GotG. So, it's back to earth, I suppose.
Actually, I lost track of the mutants at some point, too... M-Day happened, Vulcan happened, they told everyone to suck it and sat out Civil War, and that's about it. There are still no mutants, and Sentinels in the front yard. Hulk showed up and whipped their ass at one point. Anyway, I think it's time to pick back up with them, and as I understand it that means Endangered Species, then Messiah CompleX, which I've heard good things about.

Also, god help me, Earth 2 Worlds End #1 was actually quite enjoyable. I find Alternate Earth to be a much more interesting trope than 5 Years From Now Earth, at least when Hickman's not writing one. I'm going back to Futures End though to give it a shot.
Batman Eternal, I'm catching up and just at the point where Catwoman took over the mob. Still quite enjoy this book.
I picked up Godhead #1 and wasn't too impressed. I might just give up on catching up on the GLU. It's like the same story forever and ever. Dude wants the rings, the corps are changed forever, blah blah blah. Not sure I really care anymore.
