Add zMagni when the game is finally playable. US East, I play competitively though I'm very rusty now, I just want to play with people who play seriously enough to call out and what not, the basics
So far I'm liking 3 over 2, honestly. 2 just feels weird to someone who's only played 1 and 3. Like, the balancing of stuff just seems so in-between. Like, grenades seem great in H1, and stickies seem great in H3, and they both seem shitty in H2.
That said, the majority of maps that were remade for Halo 3 aren't ones I really care for, especially Cold Storage. Also, another gripe: I hate how so many of H2A's maps are ones that have been done to death. I'd rather they remake a map that hasn't been constantly remade. Give it some variety.

Seriously, for now, I highly recommend you all save yourself the headache of trying to get a match and just band together with some people for customs.
I only had a party of three, I put a message out here and almost instantly we were able to play 6v6.
As others are saying, this game is so beautiful and plays so well. Damn shame to see it muddied by Bugs Bunny.

Halo 3 is terrible. The BR spread is insane, the equipment sucks, the movement sucks. There's really nothing about it besides graphics that was an overall improvement.
Is the PS4 battery removable, and if so, can you remove the built-in battery and replace it with another similar built-in battery, or with AA batteries? If so, then the PS4 solution is objectively the better solution. It has a convenient rechargeable battery out of the box, and that battery can be replaced with another similar battery, or with AAs, in case the stock battery degrades.
But if the answer to those questions is No, then IMO it's a situation of there being positives and negatives on both sides of the table (with regards to PS4 versus XB1 battery cage designs). Don't forget that XB1 has astonishingly long-lasting battery-power - on a full charge XB1 controller lasts 30 hours.
I've used the same two AA Duracell rechargeable batteries on the XB1 controller at my place since December, without issues.
I prefer 2 over 3 in general, but 3 was still a great game. Just 110% speed makes it so much better though. Oh and I forgot about equipment. Yeah screw that. (I mostly played MLG rules when I played Halo 3, and that was basically trying to replicate Halo 2)
I donno, I liked it a lot. I loved the original maps, I like how beat downs feel. There's a lot I liked about Halo 3.

Manage just spent probably 3.5 besting truth and reconciliation on legendary... It was very frustrating and time consuming... They checkpoints in these games are brutal...

This is basically the only map that was played on XBC after all these years, I'm not at all surprised by its popularity.
^ Lockout is the de_dust of console FPSes, and for good reason. Halo has a ton of other good maps, but Lockout is timeless.
Which ones? I really liked Pit and Narrows, Guardian was fun though it really is just a poor man's Lockout.

I'm the opposite. I could never do objective gametypes or default slayer. Gimme the Team BRs.

Can someone clarify this for me? If Halo 1, 2, 3, and 4 maps are all in rotation together, are there ordinances and loadouts when a Halo 4 map gets picked, or.....
Every game uses it's own engine so if you play Halo 4 you're going to see ordinances and loadouts.
I highly recommend just going and building some loadouts now in case you need them.
Valhalla, Sand Trap, The Pit, and High Ground are personal favorites. Man doing stupid shit with the elephant was fun.I like Gaurdian, I actually prefer it to Lockout though that probably puts me in the minority.

Ah. That's interesting.
I prefer Valhalla to Coag, but found Sand Trap to be too dull. High Ground was nice for asymmetric objective games. The Pit was probably the best 4v4 launch map.

Fwiw, i bough a pack with a controller + play amd charge kit in may or june and the battery is already dead. Same shit happened to me with my last 360 play and charge kit, they suck.

lol the one time I've tried that playlist, it somehow put me into the normal team slayer list, Halo 2 Zanzibar got selected, black screen for like a minute, then the game crashed.

I know, and i also prefer Sony solution even if the battery on the DS4 is crap, i just plug it to my console every night and have never had it die on me in the middle of a game. Anyway, i hope i don't get major bugs on Halo 1 tomorrow cause i plan to play the campaing all day basically.
eneloop batteries, they are amazing.
Amazon even has the Amazon Essential Eneloop batteries, and they do a fantastic job.
I'd play 1v4 if it means I get to play.
That's not a solution, the Xbox One controller can do the same thing while giving you more options and lasting longer...
The problem with the PS4 controller is that if it does die and you forgot to charge it than you're forced to leave it plugged in to even play.

It's funny because one of the first MM I played was on warlock and my team left at it was 1v3, they rage quit when I caught up to them in kills....
