Lol, I mean like epic PvP battles just because.

On higher pop PVP servers, this is still the case. Mostly happens when there are more people with less things to do at the level cap. I'd say this week will probably be pretty good due to the LFR raids not opening for another week. (And I'm not sure when the new Arena/Conquest season will start either.)

Very early vanilla? I still participated in raids of crossroads till the end of Vanilla. They really should bring back the PvP world objectives from BC in each zone.

That's what Ashran is. They're focusing the world pvp there so that you can actually find people to fight if that's your thing - same as Wintergrasp and Tol Barad.

Just randomly PvPing stuff? yeah no definitely not since vanilla in any real fashion. "Raiding" Crossroads didn't cause more than 5-10 people to come out even during Naxx era in vanilla, cause PvPers didn't have time to stop their R14 grind and there was no point.

Now it'd be even worse, most of the pvp servers are very lopsided - which makes world pvp sort of necessarily nonexistent.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
Hey TheYanger, shouldn't you update your avatar with the new model? :D
Stop encouraging avatar changes! I already despised the fact that TheYanger changed the OrgOrc once!

The Tarren Mill - SS Battleground reminded me of how much I loved that back in the day.

.... I was an idiot.

Kinda my conclusion from Molten Core LFR. I know it was different back then, but it boggles my mind how people want to return to that day. The place is ugly, the music is plain and repetitive, it's incredibly simplistic and monotonous and both raid design, enemy design and encounter design are bad.

If you add the unbalanced and often broken class design from back in the day, phew. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

Well, with MC I kinda kinda understand my awe from 10 years ago. I had never had anything like that. 40 people co-operating to take down one boss? I mean it was insane. And fun.

Of course raid dungeons are more refined and prettier today.

Anyone remember this? MC RAIDERS!

Yesssss, just finished farming iron horde scraps. In my opinion, heroics are pretty bad for getting them. I found the best place for farming them is either the Orunai Coast in Talador, or the iron horde encampment that is in the north of Talador.

What do these even do? I have the building in my garrison, but all they sell are vanity pieces.

Just hit level 99 on my warrior. I'm enjoying new Nagrand, still feels like Nagrand but with a more modern feeling.

100 tomorrow, then I'll start doing endgame shit + start leveling the warlock

Trying to figure out which other medium plot to build

Lumber mill is still chugging along. My other character I went barn and that isn't super helpful, Trading Post or Inn I guess? The treasure hunter shit seems borderline useless too though, but I like the sound of extra followers.

Might stick with post to get the auction house

Large I've got Barracks and Dwarven Bunker,
Small I've got Enchanting, Salvage Yard, and Storehouse,

The flight plan I just filed with the agency list me, my men, Dr. Pavel here. But only one of you!
Trading post is awesome if you need resources, and of course necessary if you want to grind the rep attached. If neither of those things are appealing to you at the moment, I'd grab the inn. The quest stuff isn't bad, and you get a guaranteed epic follower out of it.

Just got home and found a package with my last main's name as my middle name on the address. Opened it to find a collectors edition of Warlords from my two buddies who recently returned.

I'm coming home, I'm coming home. Tell Thrall I'm coming home.
Let the Maelstorm wash away, all the sins of Garrosh Hellscream.
And now my Garrison awaits, and they've forgiven my long break.

Which proffs for my boosted monk :/

I have all of the crafting ones on other characters and I've heard gathering is redundant because of your garrison. Anyone have suggestions?

Get the Inn.

Once a week you can ask for a follower, and provide a trait or ability you'd like on him/her. You then get shown 3 options, and pick one (usually at least one of the 3 is of blue quality). Why is this so good? Well, there are a few very very rare traits you're unlikely to see a lot (if any) of while recruiting normally. With the Inn, you can guarantee you get a follower with the trait.

Like the Scavanger trait: 200% garrison resources gained on missions involving the follower.

So, I hit 100... But to be honest, I think I'm gonna stop playing.

The problem for me is that WoW, as much as any MMO, is a hobby. I just don't think I have the time for that anymore, I prefer a game I can just pick up and play whenever I feel rather than have something that feels like more of a commitment. It was fun while I enjoyed it, exploring Draenor and what not, but I don't think I wanna get back into WoW that much again. Things like 45 minute dungeon queues aren't my definition of "pick up and play".

I reached level 98 with my Paladinand decided to take a stroll in the level 100 area in Frostfire Ridge. Managed to get myself the Cudgel of the Son of Goramal, which was a nice drop to get my hands on as I'm gonna go back healer once I make it to 100. But I also got this to drop from one of the random ogres
z8ib.png

It made me go WTF irl because I couldn't believe it. It's useless to me in a way but it still felt nice getting it.

Yeah, werent BG's added towards the middle/end?

There was still open world fights but not large scale, usually around raids and the such

I dont think I can get back in to WoW as a hobby even if I wanted, but Ill def hit 100.

Life has changed a lot since the last time I really played in 2009.

over a week after leveling to 100, I finally like the endgame.

mostly because my firemage finally has enough crit to do the most damage in dungeons. I just hate being useless.

but the garrison is really fun, too. the stable quests were fun and I just started chopping wood and got a disenchantment station in my level 3 garrison. inn toys (and the awesome buff shard) are pretty great, too.
oh and I got barracks for a bodyguard, that should help doing those dreadful assault dailies.

the lack of fun endgame dailies is certainly WoD's biggest flaw in my opinion.

I was reading up on invasions. Apparently you get a dummy one whilst levelling at lvl2 garrison. I never did. Have yet to see an invasion.

Yeah I hear ya, that's when I last played seriously too. Lol I have memories of when I'd get kicked out of a guild dungeon party because during the time before going into a 5 man heroic I said I had to afk for five minutes because something I had finished preparing for lunch was ready, and they were too impatient to wait just five minutes. I think that's what I don't like, it's like, if I were to tab out of my game for a bit, finally get my queue position then miss it, then I have to sit my ass for another 45 minutes just to wait for another one.

Fuck that.

I can't decide which building I want to get in Nagrand. The mount seems a useful quality of life choice, but the tank sounds like an enticing dps buff. The choice isn't so easy.

Get dwarven bunker instead if your alliance. When doing quests it has a chance to be better item then before so let's say it is a ileve 588 it will go up to 602 with slight better stats but so worth it. When your garrison is level 3 then drop a stable because you get more plots.

He's talking about the outpost you can build in the Nagrand zone.

Definitely take the mount, it's way, way more convenient than the tank. Fishing/mining/herbing/fighting/stealthing while mounted. Whatever your class/profession there's a benefit you will use every single time you are in the zone.

Servers get blasted because of the new blood trying out their Black Friday laptops?

Edit: Guess the Chinese DDoSers are at it again.

And that was the last time i did this...so many wipes on trash..i mean trash i raided at level 60 there and only wiped on the bosses not trash. It shows that many never did MC. People where running away when someone died like if it could be resetted >.<

But yeah i am happy now and not going back there.

And if anyone wants to know what UI i am using.
