Patch Notes says the new frontlines quest is from:
Limsa Lominsa – Upper Decks (X:12 Y:12)
NPC: Trachraet
New Gridania (X:9 Y:11)
NPC: Scarlet
Ul'dah – Steps of Nald (X:8 Y:9)
NPC: Mimio Mio
(Players must first complete the quest "A Pup No Longer" for any of the three Grand Companies.)

But my friend and I both meet the requirements, and the NPC is not giving the quest.
(Nvm, figured it out. You just go to the airship strip of your GC nation and speak to the frontlines NPC there.) That really isn't clear at all, because the NPC doesn't even have a quest marker above them.. You'd have to read the patch notes to be able to assume this.

So I beat Amdapor HM...place is kinda creepy...not Tam Tara level creepy but creepy. First boss has a rather tricky attack which scared me to tears as SCH...second boss also has an annoying mechanic and puts out a lot of damage. It's a very hectic fight in general. Last boss is kinda simple in comparison. Dungeon also has a dps check in a way haha.
I saw a ton of the new caster gear in there.

Final cutscene of WP HM is freaking hilarious. That fight is definitely a healer check.

It's nice to do content when it's literally brand new and everyone's having fun figuring things out instead of being like EXPERIENCED ONLY WILL KICK IF SOLDIERY BONUS 3 DEATHS AND KICK etc.
It's better than "Can you guarantee no wipes?", that's for sure.
Sure would be nice if MMO communities weren't so terrible TBH

That's the quest to unlock Frontlines, period, not just the new Frontlines field. The new Frontlines field is a new battleground, not a quest. The patch notes mention "A Pup No Longer" so that people who haven't done Frontlines quest will do it to be able to access both Frontlines fields.

Keeper of the Lake is a pretty cool dungeon. I enjoyed plus it was my first time going into a dungeon fresh with no knowledge.

Midgar strips you of your blessing of light after the fight. But you get a free minion. An even trade if you ask me.
Odin is a nothing. Aside from a surprisingly stringent DPS check there's not a lot going on in the fight; it feels like the story version of Ramuh or Shiva--just there as training wheels for a later, better version.
Also the ebony longbow looks amazing. I want to glamour it over my relic.

So am I missing something or the encrypted tombstones still coil only? That really stinks if that is the case, but it would be nice to get confirmation so I can figure out what ironworks armor to get instead with my poetics. I really wanted a poetics weapon though.
That..sucks. Will be easy to collect glamour then I guess.
