I think they were. Yeah, I was mostly thinking about the results we should be getting Thursday. I think everything we've been hearing is sounding similar to that, but I can't wait to see the actual estimates.
Bringing FFXV to XB1 I can understand, but Kingdom Hearts? Nobody's playing that shit in Xbox.

You can't know this, because the game never was on Xbox... Sure, you can make assumptions based on other JRPG's, but you are still assuming this.
I for one will buy KH3 for the Xbox One and a collection of KH games, if it ever comes out.

I love this idea (though something about KH 2.8 makes me laugh). Hopefully an E3 announcement shows up this year!
I know a ton of people who will play it on Xbox, myself included. I'd like to get caught up, but don't have a PS2/3.
I get that it's a mainly Sony/Nintendo series, but if they're going to put it out on Xbox and they do a remake, it'd be ridiculous not to bring the remake over too.

Do you know enough people to make it financially worth it? Even if every Xbox One owner on Gaf, which is probably < 1% of total Xbox One owners bought the game it still financially might not be worth it.

Yeah you are probably right, but Final Fantasy X is maybe the only game that got remastered twice (that I can think of).
I mean, you could say the same about PS4. Just because it's traditionally a Sony game doesn't mean it would instantly sell gangbusters.

Except we already know it will do the vast majority of it's sales on PS4 so if it will be financially viable anywhere it'll be there.

And thats just US right, XB1's best region. Add in EU and JP and KH3 could have 90-95% of sales on PS4. Lets say KH collection does well and sells another 1-1.5 million. Your looking at XB1 total sales of 50-150k. Can SE justify that when its clear KH3 is taking a lot of resources? We'll see but I don't expect it.

First very few games sell "gangbusters" unless it's a big AAA or highly anticipated.

Why would an anticipated game that is traditionally on PS not sell well on PS? It may not sell a million but it will do well.
Example although multi-plat we clearly know who bought Type-0 a traditional PS game. When you step outside of Gaf the picture actually gets worse on the sales slant. Ex: Type-0 sold 75% on PS4 in U.S., 80% on PS4 in EU, and 99% on PS4 in Japan.
I'm all for multi-plat but really?
I do hope the game comes to Xbox One even Steam if possible.

If they think it's a loss making decision based on SE games' sales history on Xbox platforms, then I wouldn't call them stupid. Who knows if a port to One would even be profitable for them.
Probable at D23 Expo Japan, just like 2.5 HD with some news on KH3.

I'd be triple/quadruple dipping on all the playable games if it's 60 fps with decent AA. Would be a huge dissapointment if not considering they got 2.5 running 1080p on PS3.
KHDDD would be included into the collection.
I just really wouldn't be surprised if it passed the xb1. I get the feeling the Japanese game devs are seeing the response to their titles having a distinct presence, and that presence is not on the Xbox consoles. Especially with the global market so utterly slanting to one side.
Just from a retail perspective, Xbox customers don't ask about Japanese games. They're never asking about them; and I'm not even saying every Sony customer is asking about them, but it's still a good chunk of their base.
Those arguing about fans of the series on Xbox, it's not supported by the evidence from every sales thread we've had and the info from myself and the other retail sources.
And chobel, honestly, I'm assuming that square would probably rethink their decision to release both xv and kh3 on ghee xb1 if they knew how this generation was going to go.
They still need to fill the gap for 2017 *wink*
