Looks better and better ALTHOUGH I'm still not convinced by Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman or Jessie Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, both for the same reason.

Gal Gadot and Jessie Eisenberg are both not very imposing. Wonder Woman is a badass strong warrior, not a fashion model and Lex Luthor should stand toe to toe with Superman (in terms of size and intimidation).

We'll wait and see tho.

Also a nitpick but for some reason that shot in the beginning of the trailer where Superman descends from the sky and the camera perfectly tracks him..it irks me. It makes it look fake. Nitpick I know.

The trailer revolves around the consequences of these heroes existence and their decisions. The deaths of those around them, direct or indirect. Even the trailer for Suicide Squad briefly touched on this (Superman bringing all the freaks out of hiding, somewhat reminiscent of Batman and his villains in the Long Halloween)

This trailer sells this movie as a superhero movie made by people with a vision IMO, and hopefully this will be the clearest differentiation with DC movies. Superhero movies that are actually ABOUT something.

I love love love the idea this is a broken Bruce Wayne, a Bruce Wayne who has not seen an idealistic change in a long time of being Batman, instead seen many monsters he arguably created (and clearly Joker has fucked his life up in this continuity).

And so he moves towards the ever dangerous preventative measures. Such a good pitch for a film. I'm not a huge DC fan but will see this Day 1.

My only nitpick: The "here come the red capes... the red capes" line was goofy as hell. In any context.

They like to blame the character for being boring, not their writing.

Focused to much on the perfect man of steel, instead of the mild mannered reporter who has to balance his own wants and desires versus keeping up the perfect image/beacon of hope for the whole world to aspire to.
