I thought so lol, that's why I asked because it sounded a tad crazy.
You should also just get out a world map, just for a refresher. Haha

Yeah, just a few days or so...that would probably take a while
It is Kojima after all, I seriously wondered whether it was possible then. You should also just get out a world map, just for a refresher. Haha
So do we all agree the open world is totally lame? Some of the people giving me shit for calling it out on Saturday are agreeing with me on Tuesday.
I don't. Personally, I love the open world because I love just traveling from location to location while I listen to plot tapes. Literally feels like I'm catching up on the exposition on my way over, with some soldiers in between and it's awesome compared to how other Metal Gear games did it haha.
Like I said, the open world itself is a fucking chore to get around with nothing interesting happening in between outposts, villages and compounds. BUT imo the said villages and compounds are varied, large and interesting enough to keep it fresh. So do we all agree the open world is totally lame? There's nothing there man, nothing.
I'm going with a yes for whether or not they explain it seeing as said thing has been mentioned in the plot.
And my easy method was to hit him full speed with a horse after like 5 tranqs didn't work. Stun, fulton, moving on :3
What do you plan to do when there's no tapes left to listen to?
Left on the DpadAnyone know how to stop the phantom cigar?

Left on the Dpadit took me a while as well.
Is anyone else having an issue installing the mission after the prologue...? mine says "Installing game data... do not turn off the system. 203 seconds"
It's been over an hour and it hasn't done anything.
Same. I don't even know where the med bay is. I just finished chapter 6.I heard some people talking about a Med Bay cutscene that could be missed? Could anyone kind non-spoliery give me an idea how to find it?
What needs to be there then?
I dont mind it at all. In fact I like the open world.
It doesnt have to be GTA or something.
Listen to The Man Who Sold The World on loop, of course.
Either keep upgrading the sniper when available or wait for the side opWhen can I get a silenced sniper rifle? I require it for murdering Russians.
The only right answer! It's my chopper musicListen to The Man Who Sold The World on loop, of course.
It's ok.Very much appreciated. Thanks.
Snake Eater had lots of animals. That would be cool.
All I see is one goat every 20 minutes or so and maybe some birds.

You have to wait and do side ops, the mission names are funny as well.this game christ played like 8 hours today only on mission 4, keep getting side tracked. I have one question, how do I customise my weapons, i saw on a video that you cna put suppressors on, choose different barrels etc. No spoilers though if I have to wait and do missions just say that.

The one I saw hadIt really wasn't anything special, assuming that's the cutscene. I activated it after I unlocked the Medbay and landed my chopper there.a group of soldiers firing at targets. One guy decides to get fancy with his shooting. Ocelot critiques him in saying that that type of fancy work is useless in the battlefield but he's impressed with the shooting regardless.

I saw many plants and a lot of animals (wolves, goats and bears), there's also the risk to encounter a truck. On the other hand, it's the desert so you don't really need to climb an empty mountain, it could help to tag enemies or just watch the landscape but that's all.Snake Eater had lots of animals. I love the game, but i've found the difficulty curve to be pretty steep. Last night I spent about four/five hours playing (I was already 8 hours in). I ended up aborting the story mission I was on, because i'd get about 75% of the way through it and get spotted and everything would go to shit (and it sent me back to the 'checkpoint', which always seems to set me back a good half an hour or so at least).
I thought that perhaps I should concentrate on side ops so I could upgrade weapons etc, but then the side op was almost as difficult as the story mission I was doing.
If I have a complaint about the game, it's the controls - great for stealth, but if you get spotted and you need to shoot your way out of a tight spot, they feel like they're working against you.
So yeah, five hours wasted, except now my fulton can extract weapons. Whoop. I'll keep trying though. The atmosphere in the game is exceptional.

Fell in the water and died. IT'S YOUR FAULT!I've seem to have lost my dog on the motherbase, last night it cacme and greeted me when i arrived but now it's nowhere to be found :C
I personally don't find the difficulty curve higher than most mgs games, but I'm sympathetic to those who haven't played many games in the franchise.
can the experts tell me what I did wrong here? I was gunning for an s

Looks like time maybe? I S ranked that by just using my Sniper RIfle from a long distance and killing him really quickly, then bailing out of the mission zone on the horse. I marked and extracted a patrol near the landing zone, the commander and like one other guard, and that's about it.
Yeah man, what the fuck was he thinking leaving a pup to wander about on an open oil rig!!!Fell in the water and died. IT'S YOUR FAULT!
Yes it's time and points based. Most missions give you 12-15 minutes tops depending I how many objectives there are to complete. You can s rank by killing?
