From the year one CE? It has some nice perks but the defense value is abysmal and makes it pretty much useless. Even a green one has 15x more defense value (lacks the perks though).

It has the same stats as any Legendary upgraded Sparrow, but the lack of Timebreaker Boost is disappointing.

3 Defence

Infuse

1st column: Increased Intellect or Increased discipline

2nd column: Spinmetal sensor or Spinmetal extractor

3rd column: Cleansing ritual

Infuse allows you to upgrade your shell and increase its defence by using other, higher stat value, shells as components for infusion. This way, if you want to, you can get this particular shell all the way into end game.

1st column explains itself. 2nd is either showing nearby spinmetal on radar or having chance of getting some extra when picking up node. 3rd provides extra glimmer when killing hive.

Slow? 160 is current maximum speed, excluding Timebreakers booster. Even then when you need actually travel distance you are better off with 160 one than Timebreaker, 160 one will be at destination sooner.

Yeah that's right. I think they made an exception with the original CE ghost though, I haven't seen any other year 1 item that has the infuse ability.

I'm pretty bummed that ostensibly cosmetic items now have light levels attached to them (Ghost shells and Hunter cloaks). I don't like being "forced" to wear a certain cloak because it has a high Light level. I'd rather wear one with a design that I like.

The 4 remaining chests and finishing the HoW campaign would be easily doable, but getting a group together to tackle CE Hard AND PoE 35 would be tough.

I'd honestly focus on PoE first by hitting up LFG sites or r/fireteams, or even here. Then move on to CE Hard via the same methods for PoE.

THE QUEST "VETERAN'S TOUR" CAN BECOME STUCK AT "TALK TO EVA LAVANTE"

Players who have already collected their Year One VIP rewards will find that they cannot progress the "Veteran's Tour" quest beyond the "Talk to Eva Lavante" step. The shader reward cannot be accepted, and attempting to select the reward will show "Can only hold one at a time."

To complete the "Veteran's Tour," players will need to delete/discard the following items from their inventory in order to accept rewards:

• "The Old Guard" Shader
• "Be Brave" Emblem
• "S-34 Ravensteel" Sparrow

Yes to all. New Vanguard, Crucible, faction weapons, playlists will be up, Legendary Marks will be earned to buy them, etc.

I'm still not sure if I should 1) start the story missions first, or 2) head out on patrol and see what's cooking.

They should be back after the weekly reset. The Taken King isn't out yet, this past week was really just a PvP preview week.

I'd hit up LFG pronto. You might be able to find a CE Hard at Crota and a POE Skolas at Skolas, which would be doable.

Doing everything from scratch and learning the mechanics would probably not be doable.

And there are rewards for hitting lv30 before some date? Including a Sparrow? Do folks have this reward already? I don't seem to have it.

I got some new Emblem and a new shader I think, some fluff from the Postmaster, definitely no vehicle or anything.
