This might shock you, but different people like different things.

I think it's the generic "WORST THING EVER" "CRAP" posts that don't delve further into a discussion that he's commenting on and not necessarily that some people don't like it. Personally I'm not a fan of it either because it's ill thought out and does absolutely nothing to help nurture a conversation or discussion.

I no-shit for-realsies actually kinda liked the original "do you bleed", etc. in the first trailer. But here it was unintentionally hilarious, and I doubt they intended it that way.

And how is that relevant to my post?

well, you seem unsatisfied with the fact that this movie might actually look like to shit to some people.

Doesn't matter how the cinematography is or whatever. Some people legit dont like it. thats all.

They already revealed Doomsday and the trio shot. What's the point of marketing this as Batman and Superman fighting?
*shrugs* I guess having them face each other could bring in more people maybe?

This does raise a question for me though. While I imagine most posting here knows that this is a lead in into Justic League/other DC movies, I wonder if the typical person is expecting a full batman vs superman conflict.

The car crashing into Supes and he doesn't flinch looked like a comedy sight gag

Honestly I think that will be played for laughs in the theater anyways, the way he shrugs it off so easily

It's those last few seconds that really tank this tv spot. Bad context sure but they shouldn't have cut it like that

No, people can like/dislike whatever they want. No problems there.

The hyperbole, drive-by posts are just annoying.

Hm, from the previous trailers I thought that might be the scene in which Superman and Batman decide to put aside their differences to fight a greater threat, but the way this plays out makes it seem like it's their first interaction.

But that's not what those post are. They simply just didn't like what they've seen.
If someone said "this is worst looking movie I've ever seen" then I feel you would be correct.

Yeah, I assumed the same thing when they were standing by the Batmobile in the earlier trailer.

Bruce looks battered

I dig it besides his expression. It seemed...odd? Like he was saying a line that's suppose to come off menacing but his blank expression seemed so out of place. It's either that or the way the cowl is being presented here that seems off.

Geez. The cowl just looks so goofy when he stares up into the sky and says "You will." That half-oval opening shape, the abyssal black shade swallowing up everything except for his rounded off features and those eyes made to look beady by the rest of it.

There has been (to be fair it exists for a lot of movies, this one is not the only one, try visiting the Age of Ultron review threads).

We've already seen a fair amount of "this will be the funniest movie of the year" disparaging remarks.

man. re watching. and Batman looks really goofy with that delivery.

He should just have that super suit on the entire movie instead.

Why are strippers at the U.N. bad when they're great at strip clubs???
With each passing new trailer/spot, I grow more disappointed by what is displayed.

The Batman solo movie can't come soon enough.

Either do the posts saying "This looks completely awesome! its going to be great". Its doing the exact same thing just on the positive side of the spectrum. I'm hoping it will be great but I have very very little faith in Snyder.

"Do you bleed?"

"What? Man you're weird." *flies off*

"You will!"

"Whatever dude."

Batman was planning this thing out so hard in the mirror, like a big fuckin' dork. "Superman gonna be like 'no' and I'll gonna growl "YOU WILL" all badass like. Yeah that's gonna be awesome"

only for Superman to look at him like some middle aged dork in a dumb costume and fly off without saying anything. Batman was like fuck it, I'm saying this line anyway, I practiced for hours

"...you will!"

They don't either... but it's easier to ignore those and focus on the really negative ones because that's how the human brain works, right?

Labeling opinions as being hyperbolic is a very reductive way to address how people might genuinely think about it. There really isn't much to discuss other than whether folks like it or not, or see anything of value in the spot. Just because your own feelings about the production are all up in this, doesn't mean that anyone else needs to take this movie seriously.

Well I haven't seen it that much to think it needed to be commented on. It's also not out of the ordinary for most things on gaf so it's not people "picking" on the film or whatever.

Lol forreal. This TV spot making the batgod look like a fat nerd smh

It doesn't help that Affleck looks like he's thinking about his divorce as he's speaking

Haha, Batman does come off a bit lame here. First Superman barely feels the car bouncing off him and then Batman just goes on threatening him.

I mean the batmobile just got wrecked by Superman merely not moving, lol

Watch Batman rub it in Superman face later, when he gets wounded or such, and Batman is all like, "See I told you were going to bleed!"

I kinda of liked the last trailer even though Man of Steel was awful but this looks back to the same ol Synder slow mo angsty bullshit. Sigh.

Wonder why they decided to show a truncated scene as a TV spot. Does that happen often? Usually, the TV spot is just a short sizzle reel of the movie. I expected something more like the international spots we've gotten.

What did you expect? Was Batman supposed to laugh and say, "Hey bro, ha ha, I was like totally rad driftin' and you took that hit like a fuckin' boss, son! I mean damn! But for serious do you have insurance? You will!'
