Have you read comics in recent years? Superheroes aren't avatars of goodness and justice anymore. They tend to have flaws and problems and all thatFriends and family regularly get into fights in which one tries to actively kill the other? And, they are also supposed to be avatars of goodness and justice?
I really hope i'm wrong, though
Im going to guess neither. They fight to a stalemate before realizing they need to team up to fight the real bad guy.
This is going to be worse than Man of Steel, isn't it?
Good or bad, I can tell it's gonna be more memorable than Man of Steel at least. This is going to be worse than Man of Steel, isn't it?

Why? that's what it was always gonna be.
Imagine how much more disappointed you'd have been if you entered the theater and you still actually thought the point of the movie was to watch them fight

These are all the Doomsday timeline fights.

I truly believe this was Doomsday shooting heat vision at Batman because you can see the flames from the destruction in the back caused by Doomsday. So it looks clear that they are fighting in Gotham because I think Metropolis had enough after Man of Steel. Supes is not going to take Batman serious without that armed suit.

To be fair, a fight between heroes by itself is not a terrible idea but a fight all by itself isn't interesting it's the circumstances/conflict surrounding the fight that makes things interesting. Two heroes basically going, "hey wanna fight?" Is to me the boringest thing ever, throw in some actual conflict besides fanboy stroking or ego and I'll be interested. I know near nothing about comics but Civil War has me interested in the political nature of the conflict. Similarly, I'm more interested in Clark Kent v. Bruce Wayne than their respective alter egos.
Batman holding a rifle bugs the shit out of me.
Batman don't need no fucking guns......
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an5p_T0_DggJust saw a new TV spot or trailer that ends with Superman telling Batman the bat is dead. During NFL playoff game. I can't find it online. Anyone know which one I'm talking about?
So you're saying, that you haven't followed the movie closely ?
I'm guessing you didn't read my post closely.
.Batman holding a rifle bugs the shit out of me.
Batman don't need no fucking guns......
Clearly it's not a gun that shoots to bullet to kill. It's a gadget that shoots something, thus the gun shape.
Neither, because we know exactly how the film will play out already.

Stop and think about it for a sec though:
when did you not know?
Who actually thought this movie was going to be some twisty, plotty thing? Who was going to Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice not knowing they were going to team up by the end? Without seeing a single frame of footage, who couldn't have called that?
Like that wasn't obvious from the moment the title was unveiled. We already know neither will "win" and they stop to fight a bigger threat. So I'm not that interested. Trailers ruin it.
No we don't. We have no idea who wins their fight(s). You do realize that their fights and the fight against Doomsday can be easily be - and likely will be - separated by other events right? We already know neither will "win" and they stop to fight a bigger threat. The ending outcome of the movie is 99% confirmed that they're pals with very few repurcussions in either hero.No we don't. We have no idea who wins their fight(s). I don't see anyone winning against Man of Steel's Superman. I mean anyone that ever appear in any films ever.
edit: Yeah, and that last trailer kinda gave it away.
Obviously but we don't know how their fights turn out. Who wins, what countermeasures and tactics Batman might use, etc.The ending outcome of the movie is 99% confirmed that they're pals with very few repurcussions in either hero.

It's funny people are so averse to Batman having a gun when I've seen him with one in a fair few comics and movies.Just let Batman have a gun. FFS, its so convoluted now.
People keep saying it'll be okay cause there will be a fight. There just being a fight doesn't erase people's concerns over the movie. It's whether they can fit all of these plot points and characters into one well paced movie. I predict either the BvS conflict or the Doomsday conflict will feel rushed. That's not even touching on them introducing Wonder Woman and planting their seeds for the Justice League.
I'm seeing it cuz I love Batman and am interested to see how this fight could possibly turn out. I am not expecting to enjoy any meaningful character development or be wowed by any story elements. From all I have seen, I believe that it'll be a fun Blockbuster at best.People keep saying it'll be okay cause there will be a fight. You think after Spider-Man 3 AND ASM2 studios would learn not to cram too much into a single film.
No, but it doesn't exactly inspire hope when there's already a lot that seems to be going wrong with this film as it is. A bloated cast of characters, many of whom have to be introduced to the audience, doesn't bode well for the movie. The fact you had to go back like 20+ years to edit in Batman Forever kinda goes to the point that it's not the number of characters that makes or breaks the film's storytelling, anymore than a band needs a set number of musicians in order to make good music.
Nobody wins. Fucking MAD at the recent trailer spoiling it all for a little "ohhh" and "ahhhh". Fucking WB and their shitty editing. Ugh.
We all lose.
None of the fights where you don't see them pounding each other is them fighting each other. It's Batman fighting Doomsday or Superman Fighter Doomsday. Fucking WB.
