They are all made by WB's internal team. The studio system doesn't work that way.
Snyder has said that he personally makes his trailers though.

He made Watchmen.
Watchmen...

I've never seen Legend of the Guardians. Whenever I see it mentioned somewhere I can't help but think of Matt Damon.

He talks about doing it for a lot of his films. E.g here he says as such for MOSLink?
This is well known info. Just Google it. It's not from some obscure source or anything.

http://www.superherohype.com/features/177463-exclusive-talking-man-of-steel-with-zack-snyderSHH: I’ve always been fascinated by the marketing you’ve done for your movies because it’s always been something you’ve really excelled at, even from the first promos of “300” and “Watchmen” at Comic-Con. I was curious how involved in the marketing this time around you were able to be and wanted to be? Obviously, it’s very interesting from Comic-Con last year to the promotions. I was curious, are you still very much involved in the marketing of the movies you work on?
Snyder: Yeah, I am intentionally involved in all the marketing, and Jen Horvath, she basically, when we had to do the trailer, I moved her right into my editing suite. She cut the trailer with me because I really wanted to make the trailer personal to the movie and Jen is amazing. She’s cut quite a bunch of trailers for me in the past. We cut all of the trailer for “Man of Steel” in the office with me. It was definitely not the traditional like, “Oh, this must be what the trailer companies figure out for the trailer.”
Way, way too early for Darkseid. He needs to be the last villain in the Justice League trilogy.
There are directors that cut their own trailers. Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, etc... Not many, but they do exist. They are all made by WB's internal team. The studio system doesn't work that way.

You could probably find more for different films.

In my mind, I don't call myself Bruce...

Synder is not good for Superman, but goddamn he can direct a Batman film anytime.

If his stuff does have this reputation among 'media aware circles' then how would you be aware of it?
Had a look at your link and....
He worked with the marketing team. They didn't loan it out to a third party 'trailer house'. This is pretty standard fare. The marketing team still has to approve and co-ordinate everything.

Well I assume that's the kind of thing the other poster was talking about. Snyder clearly wasn't 100% with the last trailer so the other poster speculated a difference.Had a look at your link and....

Fincher, perfect example. Dude cut a 4 minute long short film for TGWTDT and it was brilliant.I believe there were even reports that Fincher walked from Steve Jobs because they wouldn't give him marketing control.
I think the quality of the BvS trailers and his complaints about the second trailer puts this in doubt for BvS.
Who cares, everyone should just get George Miller to cut their trailers because holy shit
Well when we say that he "cut the trailer" that obviously doesn't mean he was some one-man show doing the whole thing in Premiere Pro and After Effects himself, the film itself isn't even edited that way.

The thing about that .gif is that it almost seems like its not finished. If you look, when Batman hits the guy, his arm flails out, and it looks like the gun should go off accidentally and shoot the guy who magically "slips" and falls. Its almost like they forgot to add that detail on the gun and CGI the shot going out.
Fight choreography is already 100 times better than Nolan's Batfilms.
fixed.
fixed.
Anyone else notice the big shift in tone for this trailer? It was way more upbeat and "fun" than previous trailers.
I, for one, like the "dark" tone of Man of Steel and the previous BvS trailers. However, the media seems to have a field day every time new footage releases for this movie, dragging out the phrase "grim dark" whenever they can.
I think WB's marketing team caught on, and this trailer is a deliberate attempt to be way less "grim dark." Even the scene of Henry Cavill climbing into the tub with Amy Adams ($10 says there's a gag where he breaks the tub using his super strength) seems more light hearted than anything previous.
I have to say, I actually really dig it. I'm hoping this is the marketing they push for Justice League, especially given characters like Flash and (hopefully) Hal Jordan who are supposed to be more whimsical.

Didn't look good at all.
The action sequences look like batman is performing wrestling moves on the thugs and was cringe worthy.
His suit also looks like garbage
Seems no one can get it right like Winter Solider did.
HOLY FUCK.
Bring on the solo Batman movie. NOW. Goddamn.
