Yeah, a 5 point spread bodes well for Super Tuesday.
I just hope now that we have that behind us, some people gained greater insights into the reality of the process, and they vote Hillary in the GE.

i know exit poll but
damn
I'm friends with Sanders supporters. I go to school with Sanders supporters.
To a person, every last one of them has told a flabbergasted me that they'd rather not vote than vote for Hillary.
Anecdotal, sure. But it's what feeds my feelings of being ashamed of my fellow liberals.
Lol well what can I sayi know exit poll but
damn
All I ask is that President Clinton tosses some suits in prison next time Wall Street decides to fuck with America's economy. I legitimately believe that this was one of the reasons people lost their enthusiasm for Obama. The bailouts ("Privatizing Profits And Socializing Losses") with no bite were a serious sore point for Americans that has lead to the distrust in the democratic and republican parties to this day. We can clearly see it in Trump and Sanders' populism. Trump just takes a big old scoop of rascism/xenophobia and plops it right onto the plate. Her and Bernie's voting records are nearly identical...
So the answer is to hand the election to people who, even if pressed on those issues, will spit in your face, call you a hippie, and have you arrested?
Good idea.
There's so much straight up bullshit and literally made up facts in this post I don't know where to begin. There is an establishment that backs Hillary, the huge numbers of Dems, the huge amount of corps, the huge portion of the media is that establishment.
They are lock step in their message that overwhelmingly tries to dispel any notion of Wall Street reform in the bigger sense, any notion of healthcare reform, any notion of social justice in general as not only not being plausible in the current congress, but not actually working in general in society. Hell, 99% of them don't even think money in politics as corruption even exists, and actively try to dispel that notion, Hillary included.
That is fucking dangerous to the average person as a viewpoint.
i know exit poll but

In 5 majority black precincts, Clinton has an 84 to 4 delegate lead over Sanders.
Hillary winning thanks to black support is interesting. Expecting diet racist analysises from Bernie supporters saying "they just don't know better" in the near future.

Edit: Just asked my friend here and his wife. He said he'd vote for her but "through tears" and she just nodded. So I guess it's not everyone...
Considering how many folks are talking sitting it out or voting for Trump? No, we all clearly don't want the same thing. People are gonna be fucked..People just need to be civil with each other. all want the same thing in the end

her campaign claimed that the sanders healthcare plan would get rid of obamacare and that's somehow a bad thing
I'm hoping that a lot of what we see online doesn't translate to reality. As a gay individual, things have gotten dramatically better for me under President Obama's office than any I've ever lived through in the past (which, granted, is only Clinton and Bush). But seeing how awful things started to get towards the end of the Bush administration to the radicalism of the Tea Party in recent years.. god, I honestly don't even want to think about what kind of plans would be set back. We all have to stand together and help each other. This entire election cycle has opened my eyes to how many on the left who like to consider themselves progressive really are not that much better than often demonized racists and bigots on the far right. One group wants to throw me off the boat, the other is fine with letting the boat sink with me in it (since they're in a life raft). It's rather frustrating, and this is the first election where I'm finding myself exhausted even before the GE.
Change and progress is often slow, painful and bitter ass pill to swallow. It's much easier to undo things.
Do I agree with most things Bernie says? Yes of course. I think most liberals do. But I also understand his grand ideas just aren't realistic right now. Maybe in 20 years, but not right now.
Everything I've read about Hillarycare didn't make it look like a single-payer plan in the slightest.
Except he clearly is distant 4th in SC from exit polling and early numbers.Yep. And if he beats Rubio he can point to two times he's beaten him in a primary.
Georgia or NC?as a person that lives on the border of SC
Sounds about right.

Please hold!
I'd rather not vote for Hillary either, but I don't see much of a choice. It sucks that voting needs to feel and be done in this way.

Trump:
We're gonna win
and we're gonna win
and we're gonna win
and we're gonna win
Except he clearly is distant 4th in SC from exit polling and early numbers.
No update to the US's previously existing plan would ever be a single-payer plan because it would be too wrenching of a change based on the infrastructure we currently have.Everything I've read about Hillarycare didn't make it look like a single-payer plan in the slightest.
Because that's what I stated right? Having a disagreement, and pressing an issue == electing a conservative? Stop with the fear-mongering please.
I don't see why Jeb Bush would drop out if he's right there with Rubio fighting for third.
Bingo. Once Trump gets the nomination, people are gonna jump ship to Hillary just to prevent his dumb ass from being president.Thankfully, polling shows that both candidates are even more-admired than Obama and Hillary were with each others' supporters at this point in 2008. We're just seeing a very loud, whiny minority online.
If the Republicans have any hope of Trump not being their nominee, they should be pushing Bush and Kasich to drop out an endorse Rubio so hard. Need it to be a 3 man race before Florida, or Trump walks away with this.
As disingenuous as that claim is, and as much as it annoys me to the bone every time she says it, that's hardly the same thing as trying to dispel the need for healthcare reform. The ACA, even in its compromised state, is still reform and building on it as she has repeatedly said she would do would be further reform.
So I should just implicitly trust someone with several ties to corporate America to appoint justices that are actually going to be friendly to consumer and workers' rights?
Yeah sorry I can't do it. I won't vote for a Republican but I'm not supporting the corporate owned status quo.
Neither will drop out before Super Tuesday, since there's states there that both feel they can win.
I would rather not vote for her. I will vote for her, but only because I feel I HAVE to.

does Carson even campaign? it seems like i dont see him anywhere else except the debates.
Kasich has no incentive to drop out. His eye has always been on the midwest states (especially Ohio and Michigan), and was always writing off SC as an inevitable loss.
I don't know where the hell Jeb goes from here if he doesn't drop.
Especially now that Rubio is polling 2nd in SC right now (22% to Trump's 33%).If the Republicans have any hope of Trump not being their nominee, they should be pushing Bush and Kasich to drop out an endorse Rubio so hard. Need it to be a 3 man race before Florida, or Trump walks away with this.
He's just using this whole election to promote his book. The minute he doesn't qualify for a debate, he's exiting the race immediately.does Carson even campaign? it seems like i dont see him anywhere else except the debates.
