It's not necessarily uncommon for performers to have an 'alter-ego' they get into on stage. Just a trick to help get over feeling awkward. He's been living with the Hulk for too long.

It's a ridiculous defense. Gawker obviously had no right to release the tape and they know. This is just a big farce.

They got lucky that he says a bunch of racist stuff in the tape or else this would be a quick call.

They're trying to make the case that because Hogan talked about his dick in the radio, posting a sex tape is fair game. A pretty large reach.

Hogan is saying that he's Hulk Hogan in public because he has no privacy, so he was talking as Hulk. Terry has a right to privacy and he does not have a 10" python in his pants and behind closed doors when he doesn't know he's being filmed, he's Terry.

Gawker's case is ridiculous and Hogan's defense is just as ridiculous. It's obvious he should be the one choosing what to share with the public regardless if he is Hogan or not.

Just seems sad to me that someone I watched as a kid is now a sad lonely dude. From the tapes leaking his views it's not surprising most people don't want to be friends with racists but it's still sad to see someone suffering.

I think most people in wrestling always hated Hogan except Jimmy Hart, Brutus Beefcake, Brian Knobbs, and Jim Duggan and they all are still his friends.

Beefcake is probably still holding out hope that his buddy Hollywood can get him one more run.

I know. Words just seem more like the way Steiner's career should end (not that I have any reason to wish ill on Steiner). Hogan's final battle should him and Gawker in a hole, beating each other with shovels.

I rewatched Aronofsky's "The Wrestler" over the weekend. That is one poignant as hell movie. It's hard not to see a little bit of Randy in Hulk Hogan nowadays. Except, for well, the poverty part.
