I would see Batman vs Space Chimps

Please, someone photoshop a side view of one of the space chimps over Superman in this image...

Here are even some options to use...

I'm not surprised by the movie's RT and Metacritic scores, which I just looked at. It is a Zack Snyder movie with a somewhat dumb premise, after all. Probably style over substance again.

I don't really want to support it financially, but that will mean waiting to see it. Dilemmas.

I can appreciate the attempt with something like that in the same way I can appreciate the attempt to make a more sombre and drama-driven Hulk film but the big problem I have with those transitions is that this is a movie and in the movie they made those transitions are really awkward and took me out of the film. There's a way to do the comic panel transitions in a movie and this one did not do it right.

I can't deny they were probably overused in parts, but they really did look slick IMO especially at the time.

Then again I have not re-watched this movie since it debuted in theaters. I am pretty sure I was also high out of my mind. Although even that didn't make that last scene any better.

Couldn't WB plan some reshoots or something to salvage this film from mediocrity.

I mean Paramount did so for World War Z, PARAMOUNT.

It's sad.

Heh :) The average ratings though are quite different, which I think a lot of people ignore when looking at RT.

3.5 vs 5.2 doesn't strike me as significantly different ratings with only a 1.7 difference. Both are poor showings and the user reviews for The Room are actually a bit higher than the critical reviews for BvS. I wonder how the fan reaction to this film will turn out given the somewhat factious nature of the genre.

Going to see it at midnight (UK), pretty excited despite the reviews. Really didn't like Man of Steel but hoping the VS spin on things will make it enjoyable. Pumped for Batfleck

I thought the OT would kill this thread but we're still trucking along.

I don't see this budging more than a % or 2 at this point. Will likely settle between 33-35.

So in 5 years when people ask how it is, you can say "Somewhere between Paul Blart and Space Chimps"
