get that people get THIS heated. What can I say? My life has actual serious shit going on in it. This is just movies/games we're talking about. I wish I was distracted enough that this wouldn't be a surprise..trust me, bud.

Oops. That should have been "Im not sure WHY you are surprised". I wasn't trying to accuse you of anything.

You, buddy, seem a little extreme. "Killed" with laughter..okay? Should I send you a handwritten apology? LMAO. I see you're committed..or should be. Wowsers! 😂

Nah, you're on a video game forum complaining about people tweeting about liking a movie and no about something super serious like cancer lol... okay there buddy.

I mean, a woman giving a comic book movie a bad review getting personally attacked? Can't say I'm surprised.
Yup. And the same thing happened with The Dark Knight Rises.

I don't get how some of y'all can be online and constantly engaged in conversations about these movies and not realize how toxic it's become. People are way too emotionally invested in these things.

That said, I do wonder how often some of y'all use twitter. This is par for the course as far as ridiculous hashtags.

No worries, brother..

Killing=with laughing. Keep going, homie. I'm sorry about your movie..ignore the words in this post too. Lawd, save us 😂

2013: Man of Steel is now the foundation for the DCEU. It underperforms, but still hits the numbers it needs to move forward with a sequel, which becomes

2016: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - a pseudo-sequel to Man of Steel that is also a pseudo-prequel to Justice League Pt. I

Wait, "Batman vs. Superman" was supposed to be a sequel for "Man of Steel?" I actually enjoyed "Man of Steel" but I would never pay money to see "Batman vs. Superman." Every single promo I saw was awful....and RT didn't help.

EDIT: I should note that I enjoyed it more after a 2nd watch.

It deals with the outfall of MoS

Why are they doing another Toy Story?

3 ended perfectly what the hell.

Yeah, it's a little bit disappointing that they're making another when the ending to Toy Story 3 was so perfect. But I guess they just like money too and the temptation for probably 3-4 million profit from box office + merchandise is too much to resist.

At least they're not milking the franchise horribly. We're averaging a sequel more than every seven years since the first film came out.

Jungle book doesn't have many reviews up yet, but the ones that are up seem really strong.

I'm seeing predictions of it opening to $60M or so, but I wonder if it could launch higher than that.

First it was a pseudo Man of Steel 2 with Batman as a cameo.

Then it was basically a Batman v Superman film, with an equal amount of time being devoted to both characters.

Then they said, well hey we gotta spend time to reintroduce Batman so it's more of a Batman heavy film really.

Then they release the final trailer and it makes Supes look like a villain, gives him no lines and it's virtually all Batman.

Don't forget adding wonder women sprinkles for the JL startup.

Well, if you enjoyed MoS, I'd absolutely say watch it at least once. Personally, I enjoyed (almost) everyone in that movie, with the exception being Superman himself. Give it a matinee, at least..if only for the light show.

Listen to Betty being savage again lol..

Jungle Trash can be skipped no doubt it looks awful. But beauty and the beast has such a damn entertaining cast and Alan Menken is back to write songs. Im actually hyped for that tbh

Eh, I'm iffy about Beauty and the Beast since the animated version is their crowning achievement. Disney is going to ruin another one of their awesome villains with bad writing or acting yet again.

What are you going on about? Clearly there's a misunderstanding... but instead of clarifying, you intend to be dickish about it... okay, good to know.

Ang Lee's hulk is leagues better than BvS. Its not even a competition. I never understood the hate for Hulk. Its a brilliant film, well except for the hulk dogs. Anyway the drop off is deserved imo. BvS was such a huge disappointment.

I thought BvS was going to be terrible after all the bad reviews. It's a really decent movie, surprisingly good. I'd give it 6 or 7 out of 10.

Fox can't market an X-Men film to save their lives. Deadpool was very much the exception.

Of course it is. Those cats went out of their way to push that movie. Kudos to them, taking a virtually unknown, and taking him down everyone's throats..with UNBELIEVABLE success. I have no doubt they're touching themselves..!

Some of the best marketing for Deadpool wasn't directly for the movie, but for the character itself. They made you so interested in the character and his humor, that you just had to go see his movie.

I'm waiting for a new Deadpool ad that makes some joke at the expense of BvS box office and encourages people to go watch Deadpool again instead.

Soon....Soon.

Ignore Affleck balding....I'm not going to change that due to laziness.

I just came back from watching Zootopia and I'm honestly amazed at how well the film handled the fairly mature themes of racial profiling and discrimination. Especially after watching BvS and how poorly it handled whatever the fuck it was trying to do. I'm really happy Zootopia is on the way to 1B, it really deserves it.

I'm very, VERY impressed by Zootopia.

I'll keep rubbing it in, but despite being a cartoon of talking animals, it's leagues more mature and intelligent than anything I saw in BvS. I'm thrilled it's doing so well.
