We literally posted this at the same time. A 95 or higher might not be possible this generation.
I'm sure GTA6 will reach it but Rockstar are not going to see that 98 MC ever again.

Positive reviews, but Uncharted 3 also had extremely positive reviews, and that game is pretty fucking underwhelming.
Are "reviews in progress" scores used on MC, or does MC waits for full score?
This metacritic score basically confirms UC4 as the big GOTY winner this year. I really cant think of another game that could top it. Maybe Persona 5, but that one is too niche for the media. It will be UC4 all over.
I wonder how much money ND has spent on trophy cabinets.
I loved Uncharted 3. The people that didn't are just MUCH more vocal about it.
This kind of hyperbole doesn't help.ND ready to redefine another gen it seems. Incredible!
If Zelda really is the big evolution from OoT that Aonuma claims it is, I could see it scoring an average of 95 or above. That's going to be a very tough feat to pull off though.
Called a 94.
Only the highest rated new game of the gen. No big deal.
Nice one, Naughty Dog![]()

Replaying Uncharted 3 for the Nathan Drake Collection showed me that it wasn't a bad game at all. It just wasn't as good as 2. Combat was much improved and it's goddamn pretty on PS4. UC2 is a high bar. UC3 missed it, but it's a great game.
Incredible reviews. Straley is the man.
Are the graphics The Order level?
Uncharted 3 had some dumb design choices but was still a great game. Will never get the hatred it brings out of people.

Boom
Many games have already evolved past elements OOT introduced that the series itself is still stagnating under. Game will probably be great, but it'll have to catch up in many ways before it can be seen as breaking new ground. So I doubt it.
Last of Us sequel will top it.
Don't forget to add some quotes from here':![]()
Boom
Probably not, got it off twitter. Is it official?
Calling it now.
Uncharted 4 = 7.5
RotTR = 9.5

They wait, have them at the bottom of the page under In "Progress & Unscored"

Will have far too many different expectations of the story, characters and if it should even exist in the first place.Last of Us sequel will top it.
Only review that matters and I loved the PS fanboy skit at the ending <3
Somethign tells me not even GTA is gonna reach 98 ever again too. Than again I'm one of the few that feels like GTA in general is a jack of all trades, master of none, kitchen sink experience.
I don't think it's out of the question to say Naughty Dog has innovated in the story telling, acting, and narrative based gaming side of the industry. They are literally unmatched when it comes to character expression and attention to detail. I don't think they innovated the third person shooter/adventure game- but they definetely had a hand in shaping the way we tell stories, capture performances, and convey emotions in games.
Don't see a game on the horizon this year to challenge Uncharted 4 as an overall GOTY package. No Bloodborne or Witcher 3 level stuff in sight. Stuff like Overwatch will be great but it's only 'half' a package. The Last Guardian will probably be super interesting but with mechanics a bit all over the place.

Persona 5.
Cannot believe the saltiness at the 8 scores.
Come on guys, enjoy the game for what it is, lmao.
