Did MS show any Holiday 2017 games?
Not a single one. I think the thing that was the farthest out was Halo Wars 2 actually and that was for February. I guess Scalebound being 2017 could be farther out but I don't think it moves past April.
i hope Dice will patch Battlefield 1 to use the power of the scorpio
Does anyone else think that there will be a special Scorpio show as we get closer to release? I think E3 2017 will of course have Scorpio most likely as a big focus, but I am thinking that there will be a separate show before E3 2017 that goes into more specifics of the console or perhaps a special video about it.

Who cares? Microsoft needs good games, something they seem to be sorely lacking. Power means nothing without class. Microsoft has no class.
MS is going to push Scorpio so hard it's going to be crazy.
This is a chance for Xbox to recover, but Sony still has the games advantage.
It will be interesting to see how Holiday 2017 pans out.

- True 4k gaming (not upscaling)
- <= $600
Pick one. I will be beyond surprised if they can pull off both of these bullet points.
Jez: Staying on the topic of Scorpio. You've announced it very early, which seems risky. We've all seen the PS4.5 'Neo' leaks, which Sony announced last week won't appear at their E3 conference. Now that you've put all of your cards on the table, is there a concern that Sony will come back with an even more powerful PlayStation?
Dave: I mean, we're convicted in this playing without boundaries journey that we're on. If we're convicted, it means we've got to be open with our development partners so that they have enough time to deliver true 4K and high-fidelity VR experiences in 2017. We have to do that. Everybody at team Xbox is committed to this idea of choice. I really like it as a gamer overall. You're putting it my hands to decide when I want to change the hardware I'm playing on. The services are going to work; Clubs, Looking For Group, Arena, Xbox Play Anywhere, all of those things are going to work.
Were we wrestling with the idea? We love the story of customer choice, and we love being friendly with our development partners, and trying to give them as much of a heads up as we can to take advantage of what we think is a six teraflop monster – I think that's what we called it in the video right? Haha. So, really it's about our own conviction and belief, and listening to our fans about them wanting to play without boundaries.
From speaking with specific people who should know at Microsoft, it sounds to me like the CPU on this thing will be AMD Zen
So, I have an insane theory for you guys, and you'll think I'm crazy, but here it goes: I think that Scorpio will use an ARM-based CPU. Here's my reasoning.
- MS didn't seem to want to say anything beyond "8-cores"
- ARM cores are actually getting pretty damn fast these days
- I don't think that 8 Jaguar cores would be fast enough for Scorpio, and also think that 4 Zen cores with 2-way SMT would be fast enough already
- AMD, in this tweet, said "SoCs," seemingly refraining from calling them both APUs
- The way that tweet was worded makes it seem like XboneS actually counts as one of the design wins, making AMD's three wins Xbox One S, PS4 Neo, and Scorpio. This also means that one of these three would be ARM, and Scorpio is the only possibility
- While the rumored Xbox TV could be the ARM win, there's not much reason to not simply use an off-the-shelf SoC in that
- They're not launching until next year, perhaps because ARM needs one more generation to get up to snuff?
It seems insane, but the writing seems to be on the wall. Thoughts?
Strategically, the Scorpio just ruined the S's chances at decent sales. Seems counterproductive to reveal both simultaneously.

So, close to Titan X?
wow
Stupidly, I am kinda hoping for a bit of a spec bump before release. 6TFlops sounds alright at the moment, but might not be too hot next year.

People seem to be making a big deal out of this. What are we talking about in terms of visual improvements compared to PS4 now?
What are PS4, PS4k and Xbox One specs?
Meaning, no boundaries on anything...including price.we called it in the video right? Haha. So, really it's about our own conviction and belief, and listening to our fans about them wanting to play without boundaries.
Over 3times power of PS4. Who knows what games will look like on it, if held back by XboxOne or not.

Calling it. $900 Xbox, Holliday 2017
You heard it here first.
The only real downfall for me about the Scorpio announcement is that it was too soon. I really don't want to listen to fanboys argue about 6TFLOPS and 4k for a year and a half.
I really don't.
Did MS show any Holiday 2017 games?
I'm sure we will see Forza 7 there as a Scorpio show piece all in its 4k60fps glory.
State of Decay 2...Not a single one. I think the thing that was the farthest out was Halo Wars 2 actually and that was for February. I guess Scalebound being 2017 could be farther out but I don't think it moves past April.
The adoption rate of 4k will be ridiculously small by during holiday 2017. These boxes should just focus at ridiculous performance and graphics at 1080p and for vr.
Looks like Sony is killing it in games with 1.8 TF after three years and you're trying to say 6 TF won't matter next year? Oh come on.

The adoption rate of 4k will still be ridiculously small by holiday 2017. These boxes should just focus at ridiculous performance and graphics at 1080p and for vr.
