Captain's Log #1:
Crash landed on a toxic wasteland of perpetual acid rain, inhabited by giant mushroom like flora and unusual small harmless insect/reptile creatures, not to mention those mysterious Sentinel robots patrolling the area. I wanted to get off this planet as soon as possible but several vital equipment have been damaged from the crash including my ship and scanners, I would have to start scavenging for resources to repair them.
I would have to science the shit out of this.
First things' first, I have to seek shelter from this god forsaken rain. Fortunately there's a nearby cave system from the crash site. Iron seems to be the most abundant resource on this planet, with iron ores every few metres. Carbon and Plutonium were easily gathered as well. While the local Fauna offer zero aggression, the Sentinel robots would offer attack me as I harvest the land of resources. This was something I had to keep in mind as large monolith of rare Aluminium would take awhile to break down and harvest. There were also several equipment left behind by previous expeditions, as well as unknown ships soaring through the skies.
While I would love to stay and explore longer, but having to juggle my suit's toxic protection in addition to life support did not seem like a tempting proposition. As soon as I've repair all the critical equipment, I was all too ready to leave. It was then I actually noticed the relic cargo, the "Atlas" that my ship had been carrying was reacting to me.
I chose to "accept the Atlas' guidance".
The engine of my ship roared to life, it took me a moment to readjust to the controls again after the crash. I pointed the nose upwards and accelerated. The ship soon broke free from the gravitational pull, and it was only then I saw the curvature of the planet... of the whole planet, and realized how tiny the zone I was just in.
The ship system pick up several signal of interest from my location- there was a moon right in front of me as well as another planet behind it, but the one the caught my attention was the space station beacon. With my curiosity pipped, I turned my ship towards the beacon and accelerated.
Estimated time to arrived: 45 minutes.
...Good thing I have a warp drive.
