Tekken 7 4K PC Gameplay

I read the thread title as "Tekken 74K PC Gameplay" at first and was thoroughly confused for a second there.

Anyway, nice looking fighter but I wish someone stepped in and made a fighting game that looks almost photorrealistic.

Maybe Virtua Fighter 6 could be that.

Hoping Tekken 7 on PC won't be the complete cluster fuck of SFV and actually have reasonable performance unlike MKX. Been huge fans of SF and MK since 2 and 1 respectively, but let down with the latest efforts. Not played Tekken before properly, but well up for the change and the different play style than I'm used to with SF and MK

The UFC games have shown it's only a matter of time.

Wait, how was SFV on PC a cluster-fuck? Is it about the drivers & binding keys?

Either way, Tekken 7 looks amazing. Hopefully I won't need to break the bank for decent performance.

A GTX 960 or even a GTX 950 should deliver quality and performance at least as good or better than PS4, most likely.
The GTX 750 Ti no longer seems able to match PS4 in many of the latest games, though.

That's purely a content issue imo. Launched like shit and remained so for a while and still isn't where I would want it to justify its price. Performance isn't all that bad.

I'm not massively impressed. Sure it looks nice enough but the stages are kinda bland for my tastes.

Character models aside (Because NRS suck at those half of the time)

Mortal Kombat X doesn't look a whole lot worse at 4k.

Not that I'm not excited but it looks fairly average to me.

Just goes to show 4k doesnt magically make an average looking game look better. The character models, visual effects on hits, background and lighting all look subpar on 4k.

it does look nice and clean though.

Why are there so much comments under that video with #GameReady #Nvidia lol
Game looks alright, stages not so much

I somehow haven't played a Tekken since the PS1. I'll buy it barring any bad port talk day one. I've been eyeing Street Fighter V since launch but I'm not much of a competitive fighting game player so I might as well wait for the Steam winter sales and more single player content to release.

Looking good. Wonder if they could implement the motion blur from Tekken 6 in T7's PC version.
I really hope motion blur makes it in the PC/PS Neo/Scorpio versions of the Tekken 7.

Once you play Doom 2016, per object motion blur at high frame rates is just pure sex.

IQ looks really good, did they tone down on the effects and textures though? Still, it's the best looking fighter out there by the looks of it. Bodes well for Soul Calibur 6.

THIS IS DELICIOUS!

Can't wait to play it!

Looks way, way better and clearer than any previous footage I've ever seen of this game.

You would think that fighters looked better in 2016, they only have to render two characters on screen and the background, which is not impressive at all. This seems like the case for most fighters. Maybe the budget isn't bug as it was 10-15 years ago?

why cant i play this video without stuttering ..
i played every 4k vid on youtube without any problems xD

srsly .. whut

I wonder what res NEO will be able to get to in the end? 1440p? 1800p? Faux 4K via checkerboard rendering?

Function over form. The graphics and character models up close look significantly better than T6 and and TTT2, and even far more refined than vanilla T7. Perfectly in line with PS4 and Xbox One level visuals. I think that's all they generally care about in terms of game development. Not drawing hundreds of individual chest hairs on a guy through his shirt.

They were generally just trying to get used to UE4 engine development to begin with. Could they have made the visuals better with an inhouse proprietary engine like they had for previous gen? Sure. Would it have wasted tons of time and money when middleware development tools are perfectly serviceable for current generation titles? Even more true.

Are you guys still using the Flash player per chance? Switch to HTML5 already, bruvs.

Switched a long time ago.

I have a gaming laptop with a 980M graphics card and a PS4. Still undecided at the moment as to which platform I should buy the game on.

Same, that's why I'm getting a i7-6700k in October!
It's dependent on the GPU mostly though. A GTX 950 or better can handle 4K H.264 or HEVC video just fine.
You should probably wait for Kaby Lake too since it has full hardware HEVC decode, unless you already have a GTX 950/960 or Pascal/Polaris GPU. It's coming out like next month or October. Get the 7700K

I think it would generally come down to the community. Will the PC version have a big multiplayer community base? Will PS4 have it by default? Will there be crossplatform play that make it meaningless?
