World of Warcraft |OT9| People still play this? Isn't it from 2004

As someone only doing Withered Training for the artifact appearance I wish there was some confirmation either way of how much score you need. Majority of comments seem to suggest that it has a higher drop rate for scores above 500 but I can't tell if that's just because other people like to full clear all the time.

Yeah, now that everything has been found and isn't really hidden any more, I wish we could get some confirmations from blizzard as to how things actually work like that. I'd love to be able to just immediately exit and loot the chest each time. Or conversely, if it makes a difference, I'd totally push to 700. As it stands I'm doing 500+ runs now and it feels like a waste of time.

Weekly world boss means log in, go to boss, have it reset with half life, start fight again, die, run back, wait, res, kill boss and get my gold.

At least the last Q&A acknowledged that the gold reward is shit. Don't see why they don't at least make it like, 1/5th of a reroll coin or something.

Just realized I missed the goddamn Timewalking weekly. Makes running 3/5 a huge waste of time now in retrospect. Sigh.

Ion indictaed that gold is the only possible reward due to the way the bonus roll mechanic is coded. I'm sure they can rebuild it to include other rewards (obviously) but that'll take time. I guess.

Wow, there is still hidden things in 7.0, and 7.1 is about to drop. Come on WoW players, yall slippin'.

Cant believe 7.1 is about to launch and no one has found the hidden... heh. Nm. Who's excited about the weekend??? (Muffinus)

When they still havent found the 7.0 secrets and 7.1 is almost out... *sighs @ the ocean* (Muffinus)
Does whatever is still hidden have a notice at all? So we know if things are found or not?
Not to spoil anything but yes just about everything about it has been datamined (Muffinus)

Its not in the ocean, the ocean is just a good thing to sigh wistfully at, you can stop looking in the ocean. (Muffinus)

Outside of skins, ARE there some hidden things that players should be looking for?
in 7.0? Actuallly... yes. (Muffinus)

I'd take the statement about hidden stuff with a grain of salt...I mean, I know the Frost DK hidden appearance has not been found. But the Unholy one was simply hidden behind a stealth hotfix and nothing else. Very anticlimactic after the feverish hunting that was going on.

Ooh, world boss this weeks drop a relic. Could really, really use that lol. Haven't seen one drop from anything in so long =[

Mythic+ seems to drop almost all manner of loot excessively, but not relics. Part of my problem is that I'm a DK running with Ret/Feral/BM/Mistweaver so there's not a lot of relic overlap, but even Blood relics are excessively rare.

Hoping for either one of those or some shoulders out of my chest today - better not be a ring as that's what my two legendaries are.

A blue post regarding Outlaw! We might have news tomorrow!

Great, now I'l have a choice between Outlaw and Sub going forward!

Not the absolute easiest combination, but a welcome change from last week's bullshit. I got so much kiting practice that Bolstering shouldn't be too bad. I see no reason why we can't get a +10 done this time.

EU had that combo last week I believe. It wasn't too bad outside of some asshole mobs and a couple tricky pulls.

There's a Legion Hallow's End quest in the inn in the center of Dalaran. Dunno what it does yet, but there's new content, so hooray.

Still kind of funny they had that answer about Fire mages when they had already done that to Outlaw.

Yup.
Like, they did EXACTLY what they said they wouldn't do beforehand, and repeated it as a 'reason' not to nerf Fire Mages AFTER they had done it to Outlaw

this wouldn't affect mythic+...would it? I feel like if it did I'd be enslaved to tank hundreds of them that week. As opposed to dozens.

The guaranteed (non time-dependent) chest may have three pieces instead of two? I'm not sure.

Blizzard's policy this expansion is very clearly to just roll things out and hotfix it as it goes, since they can now hotfix whenever they want. So basically it's insane to do anything after it first goes up now. I fully expect 7.1 to be a compete mess for at least a day or two.

Pretty crazy. I have 10 days /played at 110 and I'm only 851. I've hit a brick wall at 851 though, I haven't gotten a single upgrade in over 2 weeks.

I haven't had the chance to do a ton of Mythic+ dungeons yet (only like...4 or 5), but weekly EN Normal clears + many Heroic EN kills and Emissary every day, etc etc., and over 8 days /played now....and I'm only 853 with no legendary as well.

Fack.

I still don't understand why the Outlaw artifact ability hurts the user but the Fire Mage lighting themselves on fire doesn't

Overflowing and Bolstering.

Fuck every inch of that. Not even that upset that my group likely wont be able to meet do to runs this week. Overflowing was so crappy with our paladin healer, made beacon a little challenging to use. Not to mention if he wasn't tracking his gold trait and could get a 1million crit holy shock when I was at 90% HP. I really just wish overflowing didn't remain for a full minute and persist outside of combat. Healer goes a little too big right at the end of a pull on the tank? He can end up with a 2 million absorb shield for the next pull. One of my least favorite affixes, because it gets easier to handle as content gets harder (less likely you will be overhealing).

Please no, please don't put even more pressure on my group to only upgrade our keystone 1 level at a time penalizing us for a +2/3

Hah for me it is charge in, AoE for a few seconds until horde kill me, then sit there for ~3-4 min while they kill it and I get my loot.

Huh. Our monk healer said it was almost a complete non-issue for him last time.

As a tank I'm just glad to see affixes that aren't 100% just my problem. It's a little silly how many of them only affect tank gameplay. Between that and the onus being completely on the tank for knowing speedrun routes in mythic+ it doesn't surprise me that there could be a shortage of players willing to put up with that. Never mind how hard it is to get a raid spot as a tank...maybe their goal is to scare off so many tank players that 2 per 30 is a reasonable expectation?

Hah, I have the opposite mindset, I would rather every mechanic be something I have to deal with instead of hoping someone else doesn't mess up. I hate failures that I cannot affect, why I chose a tank in the first place! Overflowing seems to be very healer class specific, and is much easier for more HoT based healers to deal with. Versus something like a disc priest who has 12 seconds of attonement left on a DPS so all their damage will overflow that person unless they ask them to click off their buff, or a paladin with beacon on the tank that can overflow. Also, any healer that is more crit based can have some issues. I mostly just hate (as I mentioned in my edit) that it persists for a minute outside of combat, so if you are the tank with a 1 million absorb you can either wait a minute for it to fall off or game the system by unequipping and reequipping a piece of gear to drop you below max hp so the healer can get rid of your absorb.

This expansion has definitely made me swear off alts forever.

Too much to do. Some of it good. Some of it RNG nonsense.

I don't feel that at all, leveling alts has been fun and even if I don't feel like playing them immediately at 110 they can sit there and gain AK.
