The game does throw more interesting situations at you than in XY (and most of the mainline series for that matter). However, if you were to play it, I'd recommend going into the options menu and changing the battle mode to Set and turning off the EXP share when you get it. It can be be quite interesting that way.

Edit: On the Topic of Natures, I've never soft resetted for them. It doesn't feel right that I can do that, so I don't. I take what I've got and go with the flow and see what situations I can get into, I sorta like the Semi-random aspect of it.

This game is definitely harder than X and Y. I could easily breeze through those games without ever losing, but I've already struggled a few times in Sun and Moon. The totem battles throw some really interesting and challenging situations at you.

After the you talk to the professor, you go to the trainer's School and they give the EXP share then. You can then choose to turn it off if you wish.

If I remember correctly she is in the last town you visit on Akala just before you battle the Kahana. I might be wrong, I'm sure Serebii has the answer

Not the same as friendship. It's confusing but friendship and affection are two separate parameters

Can't confirm as I haven't done it myself, but I think you can get Ash-Greninja at the Pokémon Center. Keep in mind you have to go inside the demo to send him to the main game.

Learned Kinesis instead I did a double take at that, not sure when the hell it learns confusion now XD

Nuzlocke Progress: Beat the first trial with very minimal effort since I caught a Makuhita and it freaking destroyed that Ratatta's and Raticates XD

I caught a slowpoke that died when I needed to switch a Pokemon in. I had the exp share on through the first trial just to see how levels compared and yeah it certainly still makes you much stronger then you should be so I've turned it off now, which sucks since Kadabra doesn't have confusion and I don't really want to keep trying to get it exp right now since its one of my highest levels XD

Yeah they're so unnecessary, especially when one of the biggest complaints about Pokemon is that it's too easy.

Third Island. The Abandoned Thrift Store. It's got a 5% encounter rate so it's a rarer one, but it's there. It's a whiles in, Pokemon are late 20s/early 30s by that point, hence why I wanna get someone to send me an egg since it's basically halfway through by that point
