The Last of Us Part II announced

I doubt it'll be just about the revenge of the fire flies, but if it is I say Lmao, because the fire flies in the first game were super incompetent.

I could see that happening.

I actually see them going the absolute most in this game to bring people's emotions on high. Joel's dying. Ellie's going to be slowly dying, who knows. It's going to be rough emotionally.

Yep. Game will be about protecting Dad instead of protecting Daughter.

Then he'll get shot in the head on the side of the screen like a third of the way through and that's fucking that.

I want this game to come out the same year as Cyberpunk so it can compete fairly.

Abit disappointed ND isn't making a new IP. Oh well...

I think it might be the exact opposite. Ellie goes darker, even darker than Joel. Maybe it causes him to step back and realize how terrible he is and what he did to her to make her into a monster.

I mean walking dead style stories make sense ... Settled down for a bit , then things go bad then worse and they move on exploring the world. I can't see them setting whole game around defending their cabin in the woods

my bad bro. just completley forgot. its early. too excited for the sequel. and I didn't play it a lot. but it was good the times i played. its the drugs i swear.
 
Can't believe people are complaining that Joel and Ellie are back. Did you think they were just gonna get back to that sanctuary and live happy ever after? Of course there's more of their story to tell.
 
I hate how Sony announce games that you won't see at least for another 2.5 years. This has spring 2019 written all over it. This could've easily be held until E3. That being said, after how big the original was, I was hoping Naughty Dog would detach themselves and make another new IP, or if they stick with the universe, use new characters, or just older Ellie.

Disappointed that its the same cast again. I have a feeling that it won't nearly as critically acclaimed and given how people have been turning on games lately, this long wait will just make people bitter by the time its out. I'll still day one it though, because Naughty Dog are pure quality, but I feel as though they could've done better here.

Joel already dead and Ellie is going on a revenge killing spree? Hard to think Joel would let Ellie clear a house alone and then coming in so calmly. He's probably just Ellie's imagination.
 
Yeah, I'm not going to blindly believe an ND reveal like that again, even though they are my favorite developer. Especially since this seems to be an updated engine. I reckon this could be an in engine footage.
 
ND going to be so insufferable with this one. I don't like the way they handled uncharted 4 with its uneven ass pacing.

Also wish they would have done all new characters instead but whatever
 
What can I say? It's the sequel to my favorite game ever.
Can't believe that concept art with Ellie playing guitar I've been using as a wallpaper for 2 years is so close to an actual scene of the game though I was always hopeful that would be the case.
I'm torn on seeing Ellie and Joel return, I hope it's a worthy follow up to their story.
